this was one I watched when I just started watching cdramas and had really fallen in love with Zhang Han. I decided to check it out again because it had been almost a year since the first time. I kept asking myself, why in the world did she take any advice from the cousin/sister whose mother was pushing her into a marriage with a man she herself knew was a multiple cheater. Just love it when the cousin tells her she needs to know when to quit, all the while continuing with her relationship with the man who drops his zipper every change he gets and she knows it. Her self-talk sort of drove me crazy, but then I also had to remind myself that this was a girl from a small town with parents, although loving protected her from life basically and she had no self-confidence at all. I'm waiting for the ending when she gets that confidence and doesn't listen to their advice.

someone suggested I check this out because I'm a huge fan of Dating in the Kitchen. Just started it, we'll see if I'm as big a fan of this as I am of DITK.

disappointed that as of today this still doesn't have subtitles. I would love to watch it.

I'm looking to purchase the DVD set if it's available anywhere. But, thank you, I didn't know I could watch it on Prime, I've only watched it on YouTube.

does anyone know if this can be purchased anywhere. I've checked Ebay and CD Universe, can't find it at all.

is there any cdramas that the FL has a friend who is an adult, but isn't a childish stalker. I have to fast forward through her scene, it's so cringy, I just want to smack her and tell her to grow up.

I started watching this again because I just love the cast, but I just cannot stand the way the parents and grandparents are involved and push the children into forced marriages. I guess I should have figured that out by the title, but I can't deal with it at all. Can't stand the whole status thing right now, so will walk away for the 2nd time, figuring it will never get better because this is the type of drama it is.

Wow, It's close to the end, I couldn't tell you exactly, but she starts out knowing, then the other alien brainwashes her and it takes several epi from them for her to remember.

did anyone else have an issue with watching it on Netflix? the sound keeps dropping and the video stops, but then you can see the cc as if the show is still playing. Honestly, Netflix is the worst to watch these shows on IMO.

I need a spoiler...I love spoilers, it doesn't keep me from watching the whole show. Who is the bad guy in all this? Thanks EDIT: don't need the spoilers, just finished it and oh my, the last 2 epi are intense. More than anything I wanted someone to wipe that smile off that old mans face. I was happy and sad the way it ended.

I wholeheartedly agree...I keep asking myself, what the hell did I watch, but I watched all of it and yes, weirdly loved it.

This show got rave reviews and I can certainly see why. Just finished it last night, hated to see it end. I wanted more of the romance between leads, I wanted to see how they navigated their relationship and that with their families...I just wanted it to continue. For anyone who is on the fence, trying to decide if they will watch or not, this is one to watch for sure.

watching both season 1 and season 2 over again. Surprising, I'm finding Season 2 a better story, funnier, but also a little sillier. What I really want to know is how this went over in the shy Asian community with all his really magnificent chest being out there for all to see.

I think I got to epi 4 and just had to give in, couldn't do it any longer.

Mi Gu is really pathetic IMO. She knew from the start that the ex boyfriend was really only interested in Xia Chu and still she ran after him like a dog in heat.

I actually finished it and could definitely see after some epis that's he was good for her, she was good for him. The age difference didn't make a difference later in the series. They seemed to let her "grow up" as the series went along. I enjoyed it and will probably keep it to watch again

Started it months ago and ended up putting it on hold, the first epi just didn't grab me. Decided to give it another try and so glad I did. It's all about family conflict and people who think they should be in control of the lives of so many others. Then comes the faction of people who think that old way of living should be shut down. Loved the two leads, wasn't crazy about the sister, she was an arrogant little snot, the one person I never imagined turning to the dark side did. I think most charming of all is the FL's father. He has dementia, she takes care of him. The actor playing him did such a great job of making him charming and childlike, with moments of remembrance of her as a child, excellent job. I'll watch it again.

I want to know when FL will stop acting like a crazy woman and finally tell the poor guy that she likes him. I'm on epi 15 and so frustrated with her.
