I don't understand why the writers of these rom/coms or even any of the dramas give the FL the type of friends they do. The two friends of the FL are toxic. They don't listen to her, they have made a decision on how she will live her life and even go so far as posting things she doesn't want them to online. I would be kicking some ass and they wouldn't be my friends any longer. Another complaint is Chu Nun...he's a grown man, grow some balls. I definitely wouldn't survive living in that culture. So what if Mom and Dad don't like the woman you love, you're going to marry someone you don't love just because they approve and tell them to butt out. The second date and Mom and Dad have them married already.

he was just completely creepy, from his face to his rotten teeth. And you're so right about him not being able to fight, when he went up against Do Bae Man, it was just so funny because he was taken down in 2 sec.

he also went through a load of abuse by his mother as a teen. I mean how many of us have been thrown into a pit with a live hand grenade. That could cause a huge problem.

thank you for saying that. I wanted to keep hating him after the way he acted in the beginning, but then started feeling so sorry for him and asking myself "what is wrong with you? He's a scum." But like you said, once in the military he was that poor beaten puppy that you just had to feel sorry for.

Epi 11, I've put off watching this for months. Now I'm glad I started it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that so much abuse has gone on in this series, since in to many of the kdramas I've watched the person that has been abused, bullied, etc just lets the abuser go with no retribution. I hope for some "friendly fire" against one of the commanders. I'm hoping some of them get is what is due them by the end of the series. I'm not adverse to spoilers if someone wants to grant my wish and let me know that one or more of these creepy human beings finally get theirs.

can someone tell me how long it takes for the dimwit (FL) to figure out that the ML had a crush on her in college. She continues to try to fix him up with someone else and never seems to get it, at least in the first part of epi 7.

I absolutely agree about the best friend, she's an entitled, immature brat who is under the impression that she's smarter and more worldly than all the others. I'm watching for the 2nd time and I have to ff through her scenes, she's so obnoxious.

I thought it was a little more, only because the girl who played her as a child looked so very young. Lusi can go from just about any age, so when they aged her to teens, the age difference seemed to lessen. I think it freaked some people out that the "little" girl appeared so young against the ML.

started watching it for the second time tonight, I'm heading into epi 5 and I agree, how does it get better the second time. I read through so many posts and had to wonder if those people actually watched. There were numerous comments about pedo, but the ML didn't figure out that she cared for him until they were both in their late teens early 20's. He certainly didn't have any intentions towards her when she was a child, I think he just saw her as the little sister. I loved her parents, especially her mother who seemed to get a kick out of the daughter. It was great to see parents who genuinely loved their children and didn't use them as bargaining pieces. It's certainly a re-watchable series.

This is the 2nd time I've watched the whole series and now I'm on epi 2 of the 2nd season and still don't know why the nasty gramma hates the FL. She hated the poor child even before she knew her. The 2ML is so obnoxious that he makes my skin crawl, I don't find him amusing and certainly don't find him attractive, as far as I'm concerned he's one of those rich boys who is positive the world owes him, doesn't matter how many times Li Yan Shu tells him she's not in love with him, he's positive she's doesn't know her own mind and to me there is nothing more irritating than a man who thinks he knows my mind better than I do.

I'm watching 3 yrs after you and although this is my second time watching, it's one of them that I really do like. It just didn't get very many positive reviews, that's for sure.

yeah, I don't consider this a love triangle. And thank you, just read this and I've said since Dong Wook was killed that Joon Hee was the driver, you just confirmed that for me.. I thought Joon Hee was just sort of a creepy stalker.

he did pursue her, he told her he liked her but stepped back because of her boyfriend, but once he was gone, he wasn't going to hold back any longer, that's when she told him that she never saw him as any more than a friend, he was sort of creepy stalker after that.

The 2ML had been in love with her since childhood, by this time he was obsessed, his friend was in the way, when the friend wasn't there any long he just knew he had a chance, even though she told him she only thought of him as a friend, he was still convinced she would love him. I think he ended up just being a creepy stalker and since i'm only on epi 9, I don't know where it goes with him trying to break the ML. I do think he was the driver and I think he will let his father take the fall for it. I'm sure it all ends up well in the end, so if you want to give me spoilers, I'm ready for them.
