Thank you, I checked out your review right now and had I not watched the show 3 times already, I would have been so curious to find out the things you hinted at but didn't give away. Each character you mentioned is so developed in your review, the only one I have a disagreement about is the female BFF. That girl was as calculating as they come in my opinion. The 2nd and 3rd time I watched I cheered when she was dumped, she deserved it more than anyone. To be able to write like you do is amazing. Thank you and I hope anyone who reads your review is anxious to see the show, they should be.

I'm convinced from these k-dramas that the parents/grandparents would eat their offspring if it was legal. Gramma is such a witch, everything she says makes me want to reach through and smack her since he wont. Half way through and am wondering if she ever becomes less evil.

I haven't been watching kdramas for very long and find the older ones so enjoyable.

I'm 9 epi in and I think they are going to get away with it, that's just my opinion but it just doesn't look likely that they will get whats coming to them

I read your comment earlier and didn't give it much thought until after watching a few more epi. I'm an older woman (72) and you're right, I wouldn't have put up with that kind of treatment, I was married 41 years and let me tell you, had my husband spoken to me like that he would have been on his knees more than once and you know why and how, but I can still find this funny and still be charmed by Rain's acting and his facial features, at times so innocent when she calls him out on something he's said and he just doesn't understand and when he starts to feel the jealousy, to me it's just funny, and still love Song Hye Kyo for her acting and the charm she brings to the story and look forward to them falling in love and the SFL getting the karma she deserves. And the biggest surprise to me was falling in love with Gramma (she was an evil old thing in the first couple epi.)

read these reviews earlier today and read yours about the washer/dryer and when the scene popped up I just had to laugh, yep, big star doing the laundry by hand because he didn't buy a washer dryer. I agree with every word about the so called friends, not something I understand at all, their tiny hinneys would be in jail if it was me.

I have to wonder (just on epi 2) if Koreans are so forgiving that they would let their "friends" steal not only their whole life savings but their homes and all the contents and then just let it all go. I know she went to the police station but saw a woman with a child and left because she thought of her friends baby. I would make sure their hinneys were in jail, baby or no.

to me the ballerina is just a creepy little stalker, all the female stalking movies come to mind when I'm watching her, I'm waiting for a pot of boiling water, some knives, you know all that kind of stuff.

watching this for the 3rd or 4th time and each time the ballerina gets worse if that's possible. I know she's supposed to be cute and charming, but I think she's a creepy little stalker. I have to FF through all their scenes.

watching this for a 2nd time and wondering about myself for watching a 2nd time. I completely agree, their other one is so much better. Listening to her whine and baby talk is ear grating.

the best friends are always a little or a lot irritating to me. I never got why she didn't belt Betty but ended up throwing her boyfriend out. You could plainly see that he sure was invested in the kiss.

she certainly started out annoying, but I put that down to the fact that she was basically a small town girl, protected by her parents and so naive, as the show unfolded she became less annoying.

there are actually 2 other women who love him, one is the sister of the 2ML, they were engaged, but the ML said, no, he wasn't going to marry her because he wasn't in love with her, he really only saw her as a little sister, but his mother was pushing for the marriage, I think it was all business related. The 2nd woman was a real stalker if you ask me, she also had known him their whole lives and as is to often the case in these shows the woman thinks just because she liked him then he should also like her, she was a designer at his company and her father was on the board of directors, and his mother liked her and wanted her for a daughter in law. The FL didn't have any other men until she met the ML and then the 2ML decided he liked her, I thought he was kind of a creepy stalker dude.

FL...she barely kissed the ML and didn't kiss anyone else. I think you might be talking about 2FL.

for a show that centers around the fashion industry, they made so few costume changes for the main characters it was shocking, those people rarely changed clothes. I just needed to watch something of Jerry Yan's but oh geez, what a mess this was. The bad guy keeps winning, the good guys stumble along without a word of fight, like another post said. It's like their backbones have been removed. The FL is more than obnoxious, a one note character as far as I'm concerned, always mad at someone or about something. The father is an evil sob, the mother is sweet but get past the whole blind date thing. And Jerry Yan's character, grow up. I think what disturbs me the most about this character after watching Loving, Never Forgetting (my very first cdrama and the reason I like him so much), this character is just, just, just...oh heck, I don't even know what to say about him. I'll stick it out (painfully) only because I want to see where it ends and hope that the old man gets screwed over.

I agree, I don't know how he kept promising his step-sister that he would allow that "parasite mistress" continue to live in his home. And why when she continued to call Dan-Dan's family parasites, didn't someone point out thats exactly what she was.
