I think we need to demand more from our bls. We need better quality acting (just doing workshops alone is not enough). Bl actors need to be given better training. And if we can’t have better acting, at least give us actors with incredible stage/screen presence and if we can’t have that, at least give us couples with good chemistry (and I don’t mean sexual chemistry), and if we can’t have that then give us actors with raw/natural character-like energy and if we can’t have that, then we are cooked.

This isn’t specifically aimed at this series. I thought the series was ok, could have been better and could have been worse. But it did get me thinking about how far the bl quality overall has dropped this year. Some creators are just phoning it in thinking that we’ll just accept anything. This was ok 5 years ago when everyone was finding their feet in this genre but now there’s no excuse. We need to demand more and show this through which shows we support. Wanting better from this industry is not hating and it’s not asking too much.

Ghost in the Cell was lowkey kinda brilliant

It’s the disappointment for me too. This was the first Omegaverse bl that piqued my interest and the leads had great chemistry in My Stubborn but even the chemistry and NC scenes are becoming cringe.

When I heard it I thought that was so wild considering c-sections exist lol.

That’s fair. For me it wasn’t that bad the first couple of episodes. Now it’s giving me second hand embarrassment. I would say their first bl My Stubborn was average and I enjoyed it for what it was. Not so much enjoying this one.

Same sentiment as others: I liked leads’ chemistry. I think PEB is trying not to come across like Attorney Woo character that she has toned down her performance a lot when her acting is her strength. I hope she disregards the Attorney Woo similarity criticisms and just act her ass off like she’s always done.

It’s crazy how the main things we thought the plot revolved around got swept to the wayside. For example, why didn’t the leads get married. The buildup of people thinking she has a bride curse to not showing her having a successful wedding is diabolical. Secondly, the show has ALL other ghosts reveal their killers to fl only to have the one (arguable most significant) ghost not reveal that his brother is the one who killed him, like wha??? What an important details to not reveal in their little reunion by the ferryman.

Did I blink and miss the outcome of the race to gather the most shares? It seems a lot of the conflict had a build up and then was forgotten towards the end.

The last episode was actually not too bad but it’s a shame the latter episodes weren’t that great because this was shaping up to be a decent drama overall.

Someone on here not too long ago said lil Jane is the real red flag and I’m inclined to agree. 😅Although I get the reasoning, like I get it but still, did he not promise less than half an hour ago to never leave.

All I can say is, if pride leads you off a cliff, what face are you saving if your whole face (and body) gets squished?!

The brother is a noob but he is like a typical entitled younger sibling with no impulse control so have no strong negative feelings there. He needs to learn accountability and that can only come with growing up and learning to face consequences. I don’t think he’s the devil.

Although their actions are frustrating and seem counterproductive at times, I get each character’s motivation even when they go about things the wrong way. It’s so funny because I feel like, I understand you man but I’m still not happy about it. 😩😂

I really tried with this one but Seto’s mouth always looks like a fish gulping for air. I can’t unsee it no matter how hard I try.

He’s full of red flags but they’re colourblind.

I think the ‘punishment’ is that he is having done to him what he forced others into. Yes, he pimped himself out to get ahead but it was always with him being able to leverage his body. What he had done to the others was not allowing them to also leverage their bodies, he used them as fodder so he could avoid the same treatment and get further ahead while they get discarded. Now, he is in the same position as the others he ‘sacrificed’. Not because x work is shameful but because he is now being used as fodder, deprived of any dignity. He is now the disposable one and it’s not something he can get out of or manipulate. Truthfully, I would have loved for him to go to prison for his crimes but this ending is also a sort of poetic justice.

Leads are not red flags to each other. Series is a surprisingly balanced portrayal of not only most of the characters but also that the wins are not too easy or too hard.

Agreed and I’m glad that the integrity of the story held up to the end by not automatically making Sun the lead in the Memory series. Sky was the more polished actor. We see and appreciate Sun’s potential and know that he’s still on the journey to his full potential so it was good to see that the series acknowledged that too. 😊

This was a good series. Best of 2026 so far. If I could only show one scene to sum up just how good this was, I’d point to the scene where Sun says sorry to his brother in the last episode. The way his voice broke. This dude does immense sadness so well (perfect casting).

I expected there to be a lot of NSFW content, it’s just that’s all there is.

Liked My Stubborn but this is just korn with extra steps. Shame because this is the first omega-verse setup that I thought I could get into.
