I also had that thought but thought it was crazy. Imagine if that’s the case though, and he’s been sending care packages off to sea in case one of them ever drifted onto the island she was on. I’ve have inklings like this each episode but never shared because I thought they were too far fetched. I also had an inkling watching the previews of last episode that the person Mok-ha saw at the train station was the father because it looked like she was shocked (bad shocked) and she even slightly gulped, but I thought it was too far fetched. Turns out it WAS the father.

Even if Bo-geol isn’t Ki-ho, he knows who is but I’m more and more convinced it’s him now because he was hiding his face from the father. Why would he need to do that if he wasn’t Ki-ho. A lot of us suspected that his cold behaviour towards FL was because he is hiding from his father and this episode seems to further suggest that. I’m now convinced 100% that Woo-Hak is not Ki-ho and unless the writer decides to deviate away from the clues they’ve already given, I think it will stay that way even though I think the writer will continue to make it seem like it could be either of them until the end.

Just as a lot of us suspected.

It’s hard to have chemistry when BG and MH haven’t physically been beside each other until this episode. It’s clear they’ll start to get closer and it’ll be easier to judge who has the best chemistry then.

I’ve been saying this from episode one when people said he had no reaction to finding her. The way he was looking at her. It was like someone trying not to show any emotion but they cannot help themselves catching a glance.

imo his concern/feelings for her did slip out a few times that’s why the theory is out there that he’s pretending not to know her.

Because elsewhere, every synopsis of the show says she falls for the music producer (the younger brother).

You’ve pick up on why most likely Ki-ho is not Woo-Hak (the male lead you are referring to). Some of us think Ki-ho is the brother (the silent/quiet one).

I’m surprised so many people have missed all the clues the writers have laid out for why Bo-geol is likely Ki-ho, considering there are so many clues already:

1. He volunteers to clean islands
2. He kept staring at her on the boat which was unlike how the others were looking at her.
3. He tried to protect her privacy from being filmed immediately after coming off the island.
4. He bought her a new pair of shoes.
5. The person who waited for Mok-ha outside the train station was clearly older than a teenager. I think at one point they showed him in navy? uniform which means he remembered her into adulthood.
6. He suggested Ran-Joo for the stars of the past show his boss wants to do.
7. He went to speak to Ran-joo himself at the local festival.
8. He works in the music industry. (I think this is on purpose)
9. His demeanor more closely matches young Ki-ho
10. He’s clearly hiding something

These are too many coincidences/hints for it not to be him.

This is a good question. I’ve seen dramas that came out say in 2022 but the current day setting in the drama was 2021 and it was because of when the drama was filmed. So I think this may be the case again.

They’re remaking Love: Life on the line apparently. It’s supposed to be out in November or December I heard.

I appreciate you commenting and sharing your theories. I can’t say I know what’s coming but personally, I think it’s hinting towards Bo-Geol being Ki-ho and not Woo-hak. I like the theory about Ran-joo. That makes sense if she does turn out to be Mok-ha’s mother.
