normally i hate these power play intrigue type of shows. but i really enjoyed this one. the rest of the cast was excellent too. i cant remember how it ended up on my ptw but it could be because of zhao yi qin. and that lad is very good. ayway neither here nor there. good show 🤣

"She loved him enough ..." my sentiments exactly. FL&ML have a game going on and whoever gets gets it. so yeah i thought the the ending was very fitting.

lol am i the only one who liked the last 6 episodes? yeah there was a bit of "look at how the other side lives" but it didn't feel that was out of place - that madam was awesome. we don't find out about the duke's real plans that's true, but personally i couldn't care less about that either. so, when needed FL helped him to hold up "the falling sky".

i'll add it here: the depth of her involvement in that segment really showed her care that his abilities to chase her are not compromised.

in the end they get together (with her encouragement). there was some hint at some other sensual tension between other people (not just yunshu her thing with bai is definitely happening). good ending. what's not to like 🤣

i didn't pick up on eralier hints and i looked through it now, but didn't see anything that fit. in e34 when she was in the library that incense burner was very prominent in the shot again and she kinda had a sentimental turn as well. in any case, e35 is when it's revealed directly.

In E35 23:39 when they took braziers out of Shuyu's room she says

I've said before
that you are not
a sentimental person.
You'd overcome all obstacles to succeed.
Vulnerability and melancholy
are rarely seen in you.

... cut away of him being over-sentimental in earlier episode

he goes over to one of the braziers and says could there be something wrong with this brazier...

but it's kind of obvious at this stage that he was getting the same treatment as Shuyu.

I had the same thought but it turned out that while he was at the mansion he was also being poisoned by this Valley Lilly.

i'm not sure if aharem was that important to her. but yeah she stepped up when mattered. in any case there always comes a time in a man's life to choose whether to be right or happy :D i'll let it run.

well, from what i saw of his stuff ... romance of condor heroes was caught up in controversy but i actually liked it. it was a weird re-imagining but some scenes were the best. so yeah happens.

yeah that is true. i dont particularly like that when "anyone" throws a banana skin 10 e's before fora plan to come together. but in fairness it was not that much in my face wherei'd have to rollmy eyes and say "aaaah shit"

sry m8 cant agree with you there. in earlier episodes her plans/schemes always relied on having more information than he did. and it's fine that she looked impressiv and i cant say i thought he was stupid. but they're now on level ground so i feel that both should shine.

yeah, and it's fine i accept him g ing stupid when RSB is involved.he did start out as a scheming bastard himsel so the schemes whcih dont involve her he should still be able to pick up on. here he's justcoasting if you know what i mean.

eh, lack of communication is not so profound here. i prefer when couples work as a team here it's a bit of a mash. they project weird tacit understanding of each other and it's all "wink wink nudge nudge" sort of thing.so i'd wait until the end to pass judgement. but yeah it's odd and i hope their team work is on a different plane of comprehension.
