love, love granny yu! she’s wise, classy, and miles apart from that other grandma 😌
i don't think she did not have to be brought to believe anything she did become a matriarch overnight so probably had first hand experience of raising 3 kids by herself. also there's no mention of her previous family so how that was we don't know. whether she compared her lot with someone's who had 3 girls in the family - with 3 boys she had it way easier. anyway given the setup i would be more surprised if she was not hurtful.
here she is a bit of a cartoon villain so i don't think they'd give her a redemption arc. but tbh i cant imagine what could possibly happen for her to change her mindset.
Very unrealistic. If it continues. I will drop it.
maybe it's just because of the unique set up where they were allowed to date for 7 years without taking it further because of how brilliant she is to the rest of the family.

thanks yeah i just wasn't sure about the numbers in this thread.didn't seem to match up with her visit to the courtyard, but it's fine.
i'm all caught and yes as far as drama is concerned it's clear that she is questioning her environment whenever she encounters differences & similarities and wonders if it's her doing. but it looks like granny yu cleared everything up.
im only about 100 chapters into the novel but im starting to like it more than the drama. there were a few situations in the drama where i went like nooo waaaay (obviously excluding the transmigration bit) pity there's no way my poor eyes can take 2k chapters reading from screen. it is very good.
they seem to be pushing this vibe, but does it really make sense?
maybe in this reality there is no need for young mistress killing him? in any case i'd like to see this girl do well without taking detours to the dark side in general. but i suspect they'll have to dip her in mud somehow.

quick question. assuming Xia Xiaolan was born in 1990 on original timeline and it's only 1983 when she went looking for traces of her parents. why was she confident that she wont exist on this timeline in the 90s? like her parents could've started their jobs in the brewery and moved there in 1985. does the novel address it somehow?
nvm: in the novel she is born in 1977, so she should be 49 in 2026. "current" XXL was born in 1965.

anyway special people are everywhere :D but it's not why censorship in china doesn't approve of those endings. i dropped in here from another drama where someone raised a similar question in this thread https://mydramalist.com/776939-again-my-life#comment-25451200
Despite China's advancements, its people remain largely ignorant; time travel is impossible. I heard that someone…
