Not necessarily. Like Joker007 mentioned, every memory that was formed after the Jade Linglong and the people he met as Jin An will slowly fade away until he reinstates himself as DAD

He will gradually forget everything that happened when he had the Jade Linglong. Think of it as a bad hangover. Instead of forgetting hours from his life he'll forget a whole year. Or like a dream. You remember some of it and by noon you have forgotten all about it

This is definitely better than LOTFG and absolutely certain, 8.2 is way less than it should be.
Both have their merits. It's a good thing people can vote, so maybe in the next days it will get a better grade. I'm sure most people caught up with the plot by now and the angst is around the corner

You know what I like about this series. It doesn't waste time. It gives you all the romance and the main points of the plot and secondary characters keep you engaged. No waste of funds. For example they didn't show the empress' torture bc it didn't serve any purpose.
