i never thought more episode of pursuing stage in dramas can make me this happy. i might be in minority but the way they slowed down and took time to get to know each other is so romantic to me than dramas that have official relationship too fast.

i love the main lead's mother here... both are not just there for display but actually contributes to the story. that business talk of xiguang and her mother gave us the audience an idea of how important her mother's presence in her adult life. she will for sure take up her business philosophies and strategy rather than from her father. I'm not very much interested into business technicalities but this drama is actually making it look interesting to me.

i almost teared up at the start of ep 19... when xiguang said "when did i start being unreasonable with him?" because often times in romanc stories in general. fls always seem to have this blurry ticket into always having the upper hand in the relationship and not considering the feelings of ml because of stereotypes. xiguang you're literally the best girl 😭

i agree with you. it's actually quite normal especially you mentioned sml was almost in her reach yet slipped. she really liked him and pursued him. i may not have felt something so strong like it but the way fl asked around and made efforts, she was head over heals, not just silly infatuation so I really get how she struggled to move on. it's actually realistic. human emotions are maze, sometimes you think you're over someone until you see them and you realize there's still something left. like how she made efforts to spot him in huaya bank even though she already said to herself that she'll move on from him when in college. as for ml, his lingered more because of the blind date's connection to his accident which lead to his career. his life literally went 90 degree, even though we know he doesn't blame anyone because it's an accident but due to him being on his lowest, he slowly harbored pain from the girl he had interest on that never looked back at him. i too would never forget tbh.

it is creepy. 14 is a child and could be easily manipulated if not being carefully guided by a mindful adult. there are handful of statements from women that was pursued by older men when they were minor and felt now that it was actually disgusting for a grown man to like a child and pursue her. a child needs parental and adult guidance all the time because of this exact reasons.
