there's a lot of comments about people saying "oh it's just a romcom" and "why are you criticizing…
true, everything about this drama if not generic or recycled plot then with annoying characters having more screentime than developing the lead's characters and lives. wdym I'm still seeing the mother and sister of the ex when they literally don't help anything to developing the story? if they made the ex a main role in this then why not also make his character more complex and interesting rather than only being the annoying manchild prick that he is? I'm not saying every main role should be nice and kind and all that good stuff, atleast make them interesting to watch on screen. saying that romcoms are only about quirky romance and surface level plots is a disrespect to it's own. a story can silly and funny but also still well written.
The ex is really dangerous with how not only he cheated on her but now proceeds to forcefully enter her life even…
exactly, i feel rage everytime a quirky sound comes up when the jerk ex is on the screen, like wth am i expected to laugh and feel silly when he was puppy eyeing merry in the hospital to stay? i really might drop this because of his character
enjoying it but i have to turn off my brain sometimes cause so many things doesn't make sense. i also felt the suncheol arc or like alliance felt too forced and unnatural, it was only ml who had little bit of connection with him so why suddenly the study group is out there risking their lives to meet some thug they never even met? they should have atleast provided some interactions to justify it. it was cringe, them acting like some savior or hero but the exchange study arc was understandable knowing ml saved one of them. also han ul's character was so uninteresting and generic. if they put him on main role then atleast develop his character to this really interesting villain, he's just every other chaebol heir villain really. most main role characters were so one dimensional and flat. thank god i atleast love ML, he kind of reminded me of the anime character Mashle
my question is if "brother" is a genius then why the need to drag jongmin to "fix" something about the surface hose shop? can't "brother" alone fix it?
okay stop! juwon and huiso adopting that enormous uncle from north korea was the cutest 😠i need more moments with them and i know juwon would be absolutely attached to him knowing he has soft heart.
just watched Moving, can anyone tell me this has main characters where they're not just outrightly heroic or good but like they also have their flaws? i hate hero or chosen one trope, like i want realistic leads with real life with their struggles and ugliness.
I'm late to the party but hell yeah this drama deserves all the hype it got. this is how you handle an ensemble of talented actors. RSR totally nailed his character because that one scene of him wailing his heart out with little to no music was the only time i cried in this drama! seriously han hyo joo how can you even make me like you more than i already do 😠everyone did such a good job. HOWEVER that part where they just outrightly gave flashbacks like 1 episode per character didn't rub me the right way. i think it could've been more creative and sublime into weaving to the present time, like genuinely i thought of dropping it because of it (thank god i didn't). now that i finished it, i can't wait for s2 to drop.
honestly, i was really thrown off by the sudden pace change when they introduced the parent's backstories, but…
this was my issue too but the drama is still a 10/10 for me. it's just the sudden marathon episodes of backstories was awkward. but when i reached the final battle i was on the edge and felt connected with the characters because of the flashbacks. so i guess it was a hit and miss for other people.
