shine on me has same writer with this one and i really like that drama. but this one i tried to start several times but couldn't get to it because of too much game focus and I'm really not interested in gaming...

zhuang xu may be the top student but it didn't help him in anyway to even ask or talk to xiguang about those rumors. how can you claim to like or even have feelings for someone when never bothered to hear their side of the story?

i pity people like ye rong, how miserable her life is that she spent her energy on ruining others lives. she must've not recieved any form of love. (but that doesn't excuse her toxicity tho).

sml is insufferable. he has the guts to give cold shoulders when HE NEVER cleared out his relationship with rong even when xiguang texted him about it. then couldn't even defend her or atleast try to understand her side when they accused her. also judging her character when he barely knew her. THEN didn't give xiguang any solid confession to hold on when he wanted for her to wait for him... LIKE THE AUDACITY OF THIS MAN. i hope he atleast have a bit of a character development because at this point he's just an eyesore

i don't think she barely knew the guy. the series might've lacked more scenes with them but i think it's implied that they spent time especially that they're in the same friend group. we see xiguang analysing sml's behaviors towards her and the fact xiguang liked her to the point of pursuing and even asking around about him shows that aside from actually liking sml she liked the idea of liking him too. but because the show would drag too much if we see xiguang and sml more interaction they obv didn't see the need to fill up more scenes. that's just my take

yeahhh, he is SML for a reason. I liked the fact that they really showed us how he slowly lost her by being a coward and not puttung boundaries between him and rong. he wanted xigua to wait for him but didn't really give her anything strong to hold.

OMG not team SML but my gosh they really did give efforts to build the dynamics between him and fl. he is flawed but the line "that night, we went our separate ways. One of us was bracing for an ending while the other was still building a future" broke me LIKEEEEEEEEE. and the fact he misunderstood her when she said "she'll be back" brooooo. i wouldn't even wish this for my worst enemy.

ep 3 and SERIOUSLY i just have to comment, jinmai looks like an angel and everything beautiful with that dress.
