This was so cute! I loved TOP and his costar. Just wished I knew what she was saying in this one scene where there were no subtitles. Other than that, it was a light refresher from what I've watching.
Light and fluffy, sometimes annoying/ cringy but overall, not bad. Not a rewatch for me. But I'll definitely look forward to more roles of Issac Yang (Jiang Chi).
Honestly, I don't blame the actors and actresses in this. I only stayed because I love XKC, LYX, and VS. It's the writers. There are MULTIPLE ways to navigate through the story and ending but... okay... It had to be that. I mean it is a drama, so it is what it is.
Darn you IG reels and my genuine curiosity. I saw all the warning flags but decided to ignore it and watch the movie anyway. It was intense, super dark, and idk how else to describe it.
I just finished this series and needed to get my thoughts down while it's still fresh. Honestly not even sure where to start. I can understand both sides in the comment section—the people who loved it and the ones who didn’t—and I think I'm somewhere in the middle. There were aspects I enjoyed, but overall, this feels like the kind of show that really depends on your mood. If you’re looking for something easy to watch—light, fluffy, silly, and very sweet—then have at it. Just don’t go in expecting a deep or layered story. This is my first time watching a series with Ohm, so I’m still getting to know him, but I was happy to finally see Mark in a main role. With that said, I'm a bit disappointed that the series follows the usual, cookie-cutter BL format. Mark has so much potential as an actor, and I’m just waiting for the right screenwriters, script, and director to give him a more well-rounded project—one that challenges him and lets him shine at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure this role came with its own challenges, but idk, I wanted more. I do like the pairing, though—they have nice chemistry together. I just don’t always enjoy when certain moments drag on to the point where it feels childish or overly prolonged, or when they start to come across as unnatural. Just my 2 cents that no one asked for.
Honestly, this turned out better than what I originally thought. Love that they are showing consent, respecting people's decisions, and having the message that it's okay to be you. Yeah, cringe here and there BUT it's educational for younger generation to see.
