nope, i think you are right and i'm wrong about the real villains. although the tians were not yet that powerfull they were already a free clan and in the ink business since ep 1 (see the test little li zhen did with the 4 ink sticks) plus i totally overlooked the fact that the 4th aunt is a daughter of the tian clan. it's my guess that she and her father was behind everything.
i know filial piety means everything in ancient china even now in modern times it's still a big thing in chinese culture, but ngl ye ye is getting on my nerves. his unconditional loyalty to the li family is understandable, but to us viewers who are rooting for li zhen it's disappointing.

no hate against the ml from poj, but i wouldn't call that "good acting" the guy has one facial expression for everything during the whole drama. to be honest his job was "being handsome" nothing more. take his looks away and you basically get an empty shell. he also had so little lines to say compared to tian xie wei and even then his voice got dubbed, unlike the fl's voice. tian xie wei totally carried that show.

i think most of the reviews are ok, but yes you are right i also don't support rating a 10 when only 14 eps are out. but i think it's a reaction against people rating it a 1 just after watching 1 ep or against people who are downvoting all 42 episodes individually when only 6 eps were out. that's why i already gave it a 10 to counter the haters. when i started this drama it was like 7.3 (even some mini or vertical drama's are getting a higher score then this one) i almost skipped this because of the ratings. then i saw first ep at my mom's house and for me it's close to a 9 up untill ep 16.
but yeah you are right the ratings on mdl are a joke. especially idol drama's with their fanbase. there are so many dumb brainless idol drama's that are getting rated with absurd high ratings vs drama's like silent tides or this one who are getting downvoted like crazy lmao.

yep me too.. he annoyed me at times with his unconditional love for the li family and leaving li zhen at a critical point, but when i saw his gift i was like ohhh yeye lol and it turn out for the best for li zhen. she showed every hater that she could do it all by herself. cripple unc is still drinking right now :-))

her dad is a real piece of work. raised a garbage (second) son only good for drinking, whoring and petty schemes. corrupted his first son with his evil greed and use his daughter as a piece of tool to climb up the social ladder. even willingly to sell his daughter to a "fool". her mother is so useless, what a difference with fl's mother:-) i can't wait for the demise of the tian family.

(6 eps at the time that i checked) do you know how much time it takes to rate 40 eps individually in one sttting??? lmao why would someone spend their time to do that if they don't have malicious intend.
