What surprised me more wasn’t even the character himself, but how strong the reactions can be toward anyone who mentions finding the SML attractive or says they can understand where he’s coming from to some extent. I don’t ship him with the FL at all, and ‘hate’ feels like a strong word for how I feel about him atp — but the discussions can get surprisingly personal attack coded sometimes, which I find a bit excessive.
I sometimes can’t tell where the drama is higher: in shipping the FL with the SML, or in the responses to that ship. To clarify, I don’t personally ship them; this is simply an observation.

Loving this drama so far, and I’m really enjoying both leads. The FL is quickly becoming one of my favorite female leads — I love how she’s learning from her past mistakes, especially when it comes to love. Even though she clearly has feelings for the ML, she chooses herself, knows her worth, and doesn’t let emotion override her judgment. I understand and empathize with the ML, but I’m genuinely glad she isn’t allowing her feelings to muddle her overall perspective ( so far at least)
He wrapped up filming Key to the Phoenix Heart recently , was it a few months ago? I'm staying away from the comment section of that one cause it's a minefield 😭, and is currently still filming the Immortalis one I think, so I'm not sure we're getting any soon, at least a few months in the best case scenario
