This drama goes out of its way to humiliate the male lead at every turn. In his first life, he's portrayed as a cuckold who stood by while some nutless soy boy dry humps his wife every night, and in the second life, he's depicted as a simp who can't win back his own wife. It's baffling to me why this type of ML would appeal to women. lol

This isn't about me not liking others' opinions, you dunce. You claimed that I called the drama boring. I pointed out that you lacked reading comprehension because I never called anything boring. Then you said I shouldn't comment here if I don't like the drama. Now you're saying it's a public platform anyone can say anything they like. Pick one.

He had plently of kids with other women. But he still coveted Mian Tang. When you watch the drama you'll understand why. She's awesome.

Yup! But I hope they don't over do it with the comedy. I'm guessing that their way of not making the ML into too much of a red flag at the beginning.

If the writers wanted this ridiculous love triangle to be less frustrating they should've delayed the revelation of her and her husband's death for the second half of the drama. The fact that she's still longing for the dude who likely killed her and manipulated her into killing her husband in her previous life is what I can't stand about this drama.

Dude, It's just my opinion about an idol drama. It's not that deep. I hope you enjoy it. lol

It's complicated. The woman he really loves is the FL till the end. He tried to get her.

I've read the novel. Although he kinda started out that way, he's not really a red flag and the FL is awesome. She's basically Ming Lang with martial arts. lol

It's such a wonderful story. I loved the way they did the amnesia plot here. It essentially allowed the ML to love both versions of the FL.

I just finished the novel. It's great. Sorry Ming Lan, but Miantang is my new favorite badass lady from ancient times.

Many people are twisting themselves into a pretzel trying to defend this FL's cruel actions. I guarantee you that if the roles were reversed, this drama would be sitting at a 6 rating and everyone would hate the ML.

It is strongly implied in the first episode when he was comforting her. You're just coping to excuse LR's actions.

ML was dumb and couldn't communicate properly. But FL cheated. That's a fact. If the roles were reversed, there would not be any room for all this nuance.

I can guarantee you if the roles were reversed, there would be NO room for nuance. He would be seen as the devil by virtually everyone. But since it's the FL who humiliated and cheated on the ML, suddenly she's just a complex character.

The gender issue isn't imaginary. If the roles were reversed, this drama would be sitting at 6 rating and the ML would be universally hated. But since it's the FL who cheated and humiliated the ML for 20 years, it's cool with most.

Of course, they can. There are many ways two people can be physically intimate that don't involve regular sexual intercourse.
