i need recs that are a lot like this omg… im missing it so much it hurts… theyre everything to me 😭
I wish I had one because The Eighth Sense is on it's own league. It's extremely unique in so many aspects that I don't have any similar recommendation in mind.
Anyone else realized that Hye Mi's mother acted in a similar role in The Eigth Sense. Also the cast looks cute as heck, except Han Gi Chan. Because he is smoking hot model material.
Wow I loved it genuinely I have never loved such a short show like this before no wonder this birthed KBLS. How…
Why is this considered the first KBL? I saw some older KDramas and KMovies with BL themes. Are you guys talking specifically about vanilla Yaoi/ BL format imported from Japan or something else? Not trying to take away any credits from this amazing show by any means, just a genuine curiosity about your thought process ^~^
Girl this birthed the kbl , the episode short cause korea didn't like bl so the budget wasn't enough for a long…

This is a completely different story but with the same characters: Haruta and Kurosawa. The love interests are…
I think this season was the most fluffy and sweet of all though less chaotic and comedic. I'm not sure it's right to say this is the same Haruta and Kurosawa from the other seasons. In this alternate universe their personality is slightly different I think both of them are more softer and emotional in this universe.
The movie cut out some important scenes that gave extra context to the characters, their bond and their chemistry. You can find them on Youtube. Also, in the interviews, the actors gave some extra context that help understanding the characters even more.
The movie still works without these scenes but it did miss important context without them.
I’m so mad at the commenters who said this was a happy ending. Them seeing each other again in their 50s (Birdy…
No point in getting mad, each person definition of happiness is different. The ending is relatively happy for me because at least they found each other again and all signs point they might start of something again, even if it's just a friendship.
I put off watching this movie for so long because everyone said it has a sad ending. But I thought it was beautiful,…
At least they found each other again. It's not hard imagining they would give each other another try, there's no supporting evidence to suggest they wouldn't. Ban Ban confirmed Birdy really likes men.
Re-watching this after so many years. This is just a fun watch. So many fun and funny moments. Peak Japanese humour.…
Excuse me, sorry to bother you in your comment but perhaps you didn't grasp the whole message of this movie. I believe there was a lot of progression and character growth.
It's true they went trough similar trials before such as jealousy, love quintets lol, and a long time apart but this time there was a few new conflicts they hadn't faced before:
Haruta said that Maki has changed and became condescending because of work, Maki said that it's Haruta who didn't grow up at all. But they almost freaking died, only in the face of death they finally confessed their true feelings.
Justice taught Haruta a valuable lesson of loving people before they go. This message can go even deeper, people may go not only because of death, they might go because time changes them as person, they might also go away to chase their dreams and passions.
The fact they stayed loyal after going trough all of this shows how much they matured. Notice their engagement rings by the ending. It's not the first time they spent time apart just to get back together.
In my opinion, Choko-san is absolutely the best character; she deserves only the best and all the happiness in…
I don't mind either, sometimes kissing is overrated, not everyone's love language is physical intimacy. After all the trials of jealousy, time and distance apart this couple went trough and they're still loyal to each other is a much bigger testament of love than any kissing could be.
Some people interpreted the ending as breaking up but it's obvious they committed to a distance relationship just like they did several times before. Also notice their engagement rings.
Remember the series and this movie itself, Haru and Maki spend years and months apart because of work and they never cheat on each other.
Would not be possible for it to have multiple events happening if she was
To be honest Nanno barely uses her powers in some episodes. This drama shows how stupid and fickle humans are if you know the right buttons to press. Actually, you don't even have to press any buttons and people will go at each other's throat and do heinous act towards each other for no justifiable reason at all. Just a reminder that each episode is based on a real life crime.
I think you didn't get the themes of this one. The theme of this "season" was Dreams, Distance Relationships,…
Thx for explaining your views. I haven't seen the follow ups but shouldn't you take into account that besides season two there are three more special episodes that conclude the HaruMaki arch? I don't know what will happen next but I already think this movie is an important piece of the puzzle that fleshes out how this pair behaves in face of adversity.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'd appreciate your input regarding the themes of this "season".
The theme of this "season" was Dreams, Overworking, Marriage, Comittment, Love and Death besides many others.
Justice taught Haruta a lesson about loving people before they go since we might not see them tomorrow. Also Haru Maki almost freaking died, they were too late to confess their true feelings. Perhaps that's the reason behind the title? This message is very deep, in Justice case it was death but sometimes our beloveds may go even before death because they might become different people as time goes by, or they might go away to chase their passions and dreams.
How far are you willing to go to support your beloved's dream? Is your love strong and selfless enough to put your partner's dream above yours? Is your love strong enough to put your partner above your dreams? Is your love strong enough to survive time and distance?
This movie was literally a trial by fire to test HaruMaki's Love.
Also the cast looks cute as heck, except Han Gi Chan.

I love it. I had no idea she sang here.

Try watching the interviews and behind the scenes too. The actors gave a lot of interesting insights about the movie.

Also nice username, you have great taste in actors S2
