There's a reson this movie went on to become an 8 year long running series with 10 installments. I think the premise here is very unique, a bisexual main character involved not in a love triangle but basically a harem with his coworkers, one of them is his boss and the other his roomate. The series greatly expanded on the concept and I'm here for the pure chaos.
the boss creeps me out so much and I literally had to go spoil myself reading the synopsis of the next shows to…
Eew you're an ageist who believes old people don't deserve love. Totally gonna block you. This is like a 50yo man with an adult 30yo man, what's so wrong? This show isn't promoting power abuse nor promoting harassment like it's a good thing, by the contrary.
Snowflake woke westerners in the comments plaguing a beautiful comedy that speaks up AGAINST problematic behavior and set good role models. By making fun of serious issues in a lighthearted way, this drama opens room for conversation and gets many positive messages across but idiotic braindead people can't grasp the concept of comedy.
If you're one of them don't even at me cuz you'll be instablocked, I'm so done being bullied by these users calling me a rapist without any consequences.
they have valid concerns there's nothing wrong w it.. i'm asian & it's true work abuse & harassment r serious…
You: Don't go disparaging people in their comments with your unsolicited condescending replies. Also you: Disparages a person with your unsolicited condescending reply.
1. Learn how to read your because your comment doesn't address what I've actually said so it's a strawman. 2. Your comment is contradictory because you said "don't say this type of comedy is part of our culture because it's not" then you proceed to say "this is a serious issue in majority of asian countries and suicide rate is very high". 3. Your comment above means nothing because this comedy was produced in Japan so it's by definition a byproduct of Japanese Culture. 4. If this is a serious issue in Japan then workplace harassment IS part of Japanese Culture, don't need to be a genius to know that. 5. You sound like a woke westerner who don't understand that producing comedy or laughing about serious issues isn't equal to supporting or approving of said issues. 6. By making fun of serious issues, this drama gets many positives messages across AGAINST the issues it's making fun of. Not promoting them. 7. Just because you're allegedly Asian, doesn't mean you speak on behalf of all 48+ countries inside Asia nor you get to speak on behalf of all citizens of your country. You're a traitor who allows westerners to taint Japanese Culture.
Finally, I've just found that the block button exists so block me cause I'm blocking you and anyone else who stands for false harassment accusations and is freaking unable to get comedy.
I just got done with episode 6 and I am bored to tears. Do you like each other or not? What was the point of the…
Perhaps you're more into maturer shows. Kieta Hatsukoi does a perfect job capturing the high school teen love experience, while balancing realism and comedic fiction perfectly.
Ida-kun is almost too good to be true.Ssuch a handsome and tall boy like him would be popular and conceited as heck.
However, Ida does have his flaws such as the classic japanese conflict avoidance thing to the point of entering a relationship out of pity/fear. He also has a few moments of realistic teen immaturity such as when he accidentaly teased Aoki so it's really surprising to see the way he confidently dates Aoki despite homophobia and also his calm and collected way of dealing with the homophobic teacher.
Just reread the web comic and rewatched the series for the 5th time - Still hoping for that season 2 for this…
Wow, you're really a fan. Since you've rewatched this many times you probably noticed some hidden details or more profound themes that won't be noticed in a casual watch. Can you please share any hiddem gems and your interpretations of the themes of this show?

And they will fight together to save the world and protect the weaks! Very nice crossover! 🤭https://www.scifijapan.com/images/toei/kamenriderheiseiFINAL02.jpghttps://3.bp.blogspot.com/-J3kSVP9bhPk/WsiPatGgIvI/AAAAAAAABKM/17TpiKDK06YxWRlNi19kiPHpVf3CN8R9QCEwYBhgL/s1600/e5_orig.jpg
Darling, could you please tell me the name of this show if you can?
Inukai suprised me with how good he was in this series! His performance was lovely, especially his eye expressions.…
You put into words what I tried to say. Yutaka's actor expresses a lot with his eyes. He excels at gay panic expression haha, how can he move his eyes in all direction so fast like that?
You can't understand because you're a woke westerner who has no respect for eastern culture and eastern comedy.…
I'm very glad I made you laugh :) It appears you're not completely hurmourless as I thought. The more you laugh the healthier and happier you'll be so keep it up.
I don't understand why so many people like this.. haru-tan is literally being harassed by is boss, is not capable…
You can't understand because you're a woke westerner who has no respect for eastern culture and eastern comedy. You can't enjoy life, can't separate fiction from real and thinks everything is offensive and harassment so try not watching shows that weren't made for you in the first place?
no one talking about how creepy that this grandpa looking man is hitting on a guy 30 yrs his junior ????
Because not everyone is a woke westerner who doesn't get eastern comedy and comes into their shows to disrespect their culture. We are able to allow ourselves to relax and laugh at fictional comedy without bringing real life ethics and shaming people for fictional behavior. Not all of us are chronically online brainwashed westerners who can't separate virtual from real anymore.
Pure japanese quirkness, weirdness and chaos the way I love it. These woke westerners in the comments are like a plague, why do you even bother to watch asian comedy if you're just gonna disrespect their culture with your false harassment accusations? Entitled westerners complaining about media that wasn't even produced for them in the first place, nothing new.
You guys could use the advanced filter to search for shy male lead/bullied male lead however I can't advocate for any show I didn't watch.
Kakeru from Kimi ni wa Todokanai used to feel like an underdog compared to his childhood best friend Yamato. Yamato is a "succesful" handsome and smart student while Kakeru is an "underperforming" regular dorky teen.
Yamato loves Kakeru ever since they were children but Kakeru doesn't feel worthy enough to be loved and doubts that Yamato truly loves him. Kakeru overworks himself in order to catch up with Yamato and slowly grows confidence so by the end of the show he accepts that Yamato truly loves him.
"I took love lightly until right now. I took my partners sincerity for granted after I hurt them. I must have…
Hey you who called me a rapist and harrasment supporter/enabler. Just wanted you to know that you almost won, your accusations got me so messed up that I tried to delete my account last month but failed.
I came back on the website to find the name of a drama and accidentaly ractivated my account, then I found that the block button does exist after stumbling upon your hypocritical and controversial comments.
Caught you red handed simping for vile characters while shitting on others that your highness considers as deserving of your wrath and your criminal accusations.
I'd like to happily announce that you'll be fucking blocked off of my life forever ^~^
I watched both entire series and the spin off and agree, initially it was very creepy. however, the character…
There's no point in talking about this with this OP.
They're known to not being able to grasp the concept of comedy and all of it's multiple applications and subgenres such as: Mindless Lighthearted Comedy, Veiled Social Commentary Comedy, Comedy as Trauma Relief Therapy and Dark Humor for example.
Every single time that a comedy uses questionable behavior as the punchline this person has to virtual signal, kill the mood, bring real life criminalistics and accuse people who enjoyed the show of being problematic enablers in real life with sadistic tendencies for enjoying such vile immoral shows.
Overall an unreliable commenter that deserves a ignore/block button if there was one. I even tried to delete my account and decided to quit the site forever after this person called me a harasser/rape supporter.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to delete my account but now that I'm a little stronger and cooled off I got the guts to write this comment.
I like this show but I don't like it THAT much as you guys do. I need someone to walk me trough some deeper analysis…
Thank you, this is exactly the comment I was hoping for. I honestly need help finding some themes I end up missing in shows. If you have any extra obvservations it's gonna help me in a future rewatch.
