The modern sounding OSTs give me a Bridgerton and Scarlet Heart Korean Ver. vibe
Very unique and stands out among ongoing historical dramas.

She will devour with Wu Lei. Just imagining both of them together gives me shivers.

She works behind the scenes. She figured out that the person who spoils all her plans is Hua zhi.

A lot of things in the novel are different here. So noone is sure really if it will be the same in the drama. One thing for sure is that she is intelligent, obsessed with power, and manipulates a lot including the emperor. She hates Hua Zhi because she is her antithesis and she is equally as capable without resorting to evil deeds.

I tried searching for a better resolution, but I cant find it.

I uploaded the picture of the main villains: Hao Yue and Emperor.
Hao Yue is the emperor's consort which we will see in the upcoming episodes. She is describes as someone manipulative, intelligent and will do anything for power

Not sure because Jingyi's response after that was "How did they know?" So my impression is that this part of the drama wasnt shown yet.

I really wonder if emperor he will truly make hua zhi his concubine. The outfits she wore was like a concubines' and in the livestream hu yitian blurted out that hua zhi marries twice.

The next time this emperor gets poisoned or sick, let him croak.

All I want is to continue watching the drama seamlessly but the scheduling is ughhh.. and I know some scenes were cut off because they had to limit their episodes to 40... so please if there is a director's cut, release it and I'll watch it! Hell I will pay for it!

I think he didnt know GYX is the commander. If he knew, he wouldnt let gyx manipulate him. Prince xian have some animosity with GYX because his father treats him differently, and he is wary of the commander of security bureau because that is a threat to his post as head of justice department.

I just noticed she is listed in the cast. Zhang Tian Ai as Hao Yue. So she really is coming soon.

Since they excluded the reborn part, they'll make her as somebody who is super intelligent. She is obsessed with power, GYX, and killing Hua Zhi lol
She was shown a little bit in the trailer, the one playing "golf-like" fire.
Maybe we will see her in the palace arc.

He isnt. Shen family and him are allies and it has been heavily forewarned that Prince Xian's faction will fail. So he isnt the ultimate villain. He may possibly even be a victim after all this. His actions arent scheming but self-preservation.

I am glad about some changes coz I know with censorship, they wouldnt be possible. I am just interested with how everything will turn out coz for sure everyone will be surprised

Prince Xian isnt the main villain.
The main villain is a woman and they showed her in the trailer. Even in the novel, there is somebody else who matches Hua Zhi's wit who works closely with the Emperor behind the scenes.

I fell in love with her in this drama. There's something about her that makes your eyes glued everytime she graces the screen. I love the way she looks at other characters and her natural acting too!

For anybody coming for Hua Zhi, those rocks were in Episode 24. Reason why she struck a deal with them in the first place is because she knew they have prepared traps for those who pass by.
Unfortunately, these people they made a deal with have been killed by the assassins.
When Gu Yanxi was in trouble, Hua Zhi remembered these traps to save him.

I thought I would be cheated with the kiss scene because this is Zhu Ruibin and in almost all his works, I wasnt satisfied with the kissing scenes (except for SOKP)... however, Hua Zhi and Yanxi's kiss, I give them full marks!

In the trailer, she said "I refuse to let him manipulate you because of me"
And "I regret breaking up with you because I knew you were still following me" and she returns the engagement bracelet.
So the reason for breaking up maybe to protect each other.
