Actually, I want him to take on another modern idol drama, but with a better team this time. However, if it’s with iQiyi, it’ll probably end up the same. 😩 😡😩 😡 I still wonder whether they’ve even learned.
He’s already taken two costume dramas in a row. It would be better to switch things up.
The reason he’s still with this company might be because of his long-term contract. Otherwise, I’m not sure what to think anymore either. 😞

Sometimes, with all the chaos surrounding him, I wonder how he’s come this far... lol... is it because of his outstanding acting and looks? I don’t know. China’s entertainment industry has so many actors, and it’s not easy to be in his position right now without the right support. And I don’t see any 'right support' from his agency or iQiyi, considering what they’ve given him. So, I assume it’s his own efforts alone that have brought him to where he is now.

By the way, I just found out about iQiyi's CEO. So he’s aware of what happened and finally spoke up? At least it seems like he cares about the outcome, considering how careless he was in choosing the production team for the drama, right? Why allow them to take on such a serious drama with a new production team in the first place? Did he really learn anything from this? Does he realize how much effort CZY put into it? Can they treat him better from now on?

Whatever his next drama may be, I truly hope he gets a great production team, a talented scriptwriter, and a skilled director, unlike this amateurish production team, as we all know. The chaos surrounding it has made me not want to think about this drama anymore because it frustrates me every time. CZY put so much into it, but they backstabbed him, wasting his time and potential as the great actor he strives to be. My poor baby CZY 😭😭
Even with such a terrible script, he still delivered outstanding acting, just like he always does.
So he is already done the good job for his part. That is all the matter for me.

Chen Zhe Yuan, you are a great actor. Don’t let the negativity around you take away your passion. With time, you’ll only grow stronger and better. True fans will always accompany you on your journey.

I thought it would end up worse than SAF4, especially considering the poor production from TWOT's team for CZY. However, from my perspective, SAF4 is much better in terms of script and storyline. After episode 12, I became completely immersed in the drama and ended up loving it. I don't know what to think about TWOT anymore. It still breaks my heart, thinking about how much CZY invested himself in the role.......damnnnnn

LOL, from all this TWOT Chaos, the good thing is Che Zhe Yuan's acting, He is still outstanding even they gave him the shitty producer, writer and production team.

Actually, his most popular look is Duan Jiaxu in Hidden Love.
But as you can see, all of his characters are different, Xiao Wudi in Mr. Bad is totally different from Duan Jiaxu, as well as Li Zan. Chen Zhe Yuan really brings each character to life and re-creates them every time through his acting. 😊😊😊

The funny thing is, Hidden Love is still at #1 after almost 2 years 😁, while TWOT is at #3. The long tail effect of Hidden Love is too strong! It’s the result of a great director and a skilled production team that created a high-quality drama audiences love to watch.

If possible, I’d put the producer of this drama and iQiyi on the blacklist too! 🤣🤣🤣 They hired an inexperienced team to produce it and didn't even control the quality of the drama after post production.

Some might say the acting isn’t good because of the poor quality of the production, but the real issue is that the script and pacing need to be handled well to ensure they match the actors' performances. Plus, the director has to guide it in a way that makes the audience believe in the story.

DNAD has an excellent and professional production team (of course, it’s a CCTV drama, so it’s bound to be high quality), unlike some inexperienced team provided by iQiyi to CZY. 😑
It’s no surprise the result is so good, especially with CZY appearing in about 70-80% of the screen time in DNAD 🙃🙃🙃

However, not all viewers, myself included, enjoy watching DOTS, as it’s simply not to my taste. There's nothing wrong with DOTS though.

I agreed, they have great chemistry, like that of siblings, with a touch of a brotherly and Benjamin likes woman.

The term "ordinary people" highlights that the characters in TWOT are just regular humans, imperfect and far from the flawless heroes or heroines we typically see in Hollywood films. These characters aren't super strong or intelligent, they make mistakes and sometimes make bad decisions in life.
"Doing romantic things" doesn't just refer to a love story between a man and a woman, but also to the human connections and relationships they form, as Chen Zhe Yuan described that "the group of people" doing it.

Isn’t it easy to write a novel with a hero/heroine who's super strong and intelligent?
You could make the ML and FL perfect in every way, beyond human, if you wanted.
But TWOT is different. It's about real humans, people who make mistakes, but the real question is, do they learn from them? Do they accept it, fix it, and move on?

If viewers are looking for perfect male and female leads, then TWOT isn’t for them.
There are plenty of Western and Asian movies/dramas that feature the perfect ML/FL for those who enjoy that.

I admit, I’m a fan of Chen Zhe Yuan, but I’m not blindly praising every drama he stars in. TWOT has its flaws—whether it's the direction, scriptwriting, or editing, but it's far from being a bad drama with no plot at all. It’s still watchable.

As for the acting, I’ll leave that to the audience to judge. I don’t want to impose my bias or perception on anyone else.
