I don't think it's hard to understand why fans choose to send flowers to their favorite actors or actresses, and using popularity as the reason doesn't seem necessary. It’s up to the fans to decide whom they want to support, regardless of how popular someone is or whether they have a hit project at the moment. The producer of TWOT chose him for the role, which I see as separate from what his agency has done.
