The series is actually very lovely. It is just true pain that someone created a real main lead idiot, emotionally unstable, mentally weak and overall behaving like a five-year-old. Please, authors, take this as a warning and beware sticking to the rule of creating characters that are stupider than you as a person, using for them outside templates. It creates very uneven and unbelievable and unrelatable characters. Never follow any rule 100%! Don't take everything seriously, especially not literary theories! They were not created for authors to stick to them, but for outside world to try to understand what we are doing when we are writing. Just please - avoid this mistake.

I was blabbing about it in one of my rvs on ytb - i believe part of it might be cause of change of cast (totally unfair, it needed to be done, it was part of mutual agreement), and part of it due to tone of the series - for "young audience bcs of its goofiness - but extreme" - they need to "prove it" yet. And I believe them.
