From what I'm getting Eunyong used to work under Chairman Myung as a thug but he is on good terms with Park Jun Kyung mom who happens to be a successful CEO. I'm still not sure though why Chairman Myung dislikes Park Jun Kyung mom, but I think that's a thing we need to understand for us to know what happen to Jun Kyung mom. I do feel that Jun kyung mom didn't die due to suicide, there's must be something more. Also I think Jun Kyung went from being a prosecutor to army officer because she wants to be above prosecutor level especially since Chairman Myung's son in law is a prosecutor as well. Lee Sun Kyun is great in the second episode, Moon Chae Won as well but she has very few minutes of screentime. Gosh I think the drama is good but I watch this because of Chae Won and seeing she has very few minutes of screentime it makes me so sad. She is a great actress and I wish she has offers and take up female centric dramas. Hope she has more screentime in the next coming episodes. I think the first two episodes are quite confusing because they go back and forth in time so this is how I understand the timeline: 1990 --> Eunyong goes out of jail for minors, meets Junkyung and mom, small kid Taechun 1998 --> Eunyong scenes with elementary school age Taechun early 2000s --> Eunyong attacked by men of Chairman Myung, Park Jun kyung mom has a business product patent shown in US 2010 ---> Park Jun Kyung mom dies, I think this is also the time Jun Kyung decides to become an army major 2014 ---> Kang Tae Chun becomes prosecutor, Eun Yong leaves for Mongolia 2022 ---> present
I like the first episode. I think I need to rewatch to understand everything what's going on. I enjoyed watching Lee Sun Kyun horseriding scenes. Sad Moon Chae Won scenes are so short but she's so gorgeous.
We are a few days away from 2023 and I can safely say that no drama in 2022 could top this for me. Best drama…
totally agree. This was a masterpiece kdrama. Can't believe a sageuk of this beauty aired in 2020s. I even voted this drama as best drama of 2022 even though this only aired 1 day in 2022
This director won best director for The Princess Man (https://mydramalist.com/2591-the-princess-man) sageuk back in 2011. Hoping this one has a good script, it might be one of the best shows of the year.
