No worries :) Maybe the people who read the novel understand 2ML but we are still not sure why he’s acting like that. He kind of likes her but also resents her for being rich. So he feels insecure about his modest upbringing. He’s all in his head and it doesn’t help that SnakeRong is around to muddy up the waters.

The banter between the leads is also great. Dialogue like that is what elevates a drama above run-of-the-mill average drama written by AI 🤖 (well, probably not by AI… AI dramas might be less draggy and more logical, lol).

WDBTD gives Love Between Fairy & Devil vibes although not as angsty. The heroine is a modern day office drone that’s transported to fantasy realm into a body of a cultivator; she decides to take it as a vacation and just chill. Little does she know things will definitely not be chill and she will not stay a weak cultivator 😁

If intimate scenes were shot, I struggle to find a justification for taking them out. When Destiny Brings the Demon proved that you can get away with A LOT (like a scene where FL complains they did it too many times that night 🫣😬😳). Someone did a write up of all the kissing/intimate scenes in WDBTD and that list was very long 🤣

Was it like the that in TPR too? I’ve only watched it once so don’t remember clearly even though I really liked the show. But apparently AASOL book was quite steamy 🫣🥰

I will remember AASOL forever as a drama where there’s a pregnancy scare even though there were zero scenes that would hint at that possibility 🤣
(And I’m saying this as a fan of the drama and someone who has watched it multiple times)
