I prefer it when 2ML has a clearly defined love interest that’s not FL (like what’s happening now with “Dream to You” where there are clearly defined 3 pairs). I’m not super upset about that but can understand feelings of other people — when a drama only has 10-12 episodes, it’s better to give more scenes to ML+FL, especially when it’s obvious that 2ML has no chance to be with FL. That was especially bad in “Positively Yours” because FL was pregnant with ML’s child AND ML wanted them to be a couple. 2ML is definitely not winning that battle 🤣

FL said she died before she started seeing ghosts. So probably ML had clinical death too, she saw him, and then doctors will bring him to life.

FL can see ghosts & she’s a rich CEO of a large hotel. ML is a prosecutor who runs into FL a few times when FL shows up at scenes when dead bodies are found. Then certain things happen and ML starts seeing ghosts too. That’s a very quick summary of episodes 1-4. We don’t know what will happen next but — probably — FL & ML will team up to investigate unsolved crimes because that’s where ML’s bosses want to transfer him (cold cases). There are other subplots involving FL’s family & inheritance too.

We just have to learn to accept that K- and C-dramas aren’t very good at giving us realistic scenes when it comes to getting hit by cars or trucks. My biggest complaint in this scene was ML being a gentleman and going over to passenger side to let FL into the car and close the door. That doesn’t make any sense because when time of of the essence (like getting away from bad guys), you just get in a car as quickly as you can. FL is an adult woman, she can certainly open a car door on her own.

You can change voice settings to have original dialog instead of English. I had to do it just once. I think it may be the * button and then Audio… something like that.

I had a similar experience after finishing “When I Fly Towards You” — it sets such an incredibly high standard for high school / college dramas, it’s hard to beat.

Haha… It was just the opposite for me — binged it in less than a week.
You’ve probably seen them, but I’d recommend “When I Fly Towards You” (standard bearer for high school / college dramas) and “You Are My Lover, Friend” (standard bearer for friends to lovers drama; here it actually makes sense why it took them so long and everything is done wonderfully; best third couple in a C-drama, arguably). On K-drama side, I’d suggest “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (similar relaxed vibes) or “Welcome to Samdal-ri” (different plot, but wonderful setting & cinematography).

Just finished it. Easily 10/10 for me. And in my headcannon Nana + Damai are the second main couple 😊🥰

At least she’s not doing it solely out of love but because she wants to be the heiress. Still don’t see a good ending for her.

MDL tags are notoriously unreliable, especially since only 4 episodes have aired so far. It’s definitely not all focused on the FL though. It’s FL+ML.

That’s how it seems. Common theory is she may know FL’s grandma and/or specifically preventing ML from getting involved with FL.

Not really. It’s more humorous than scary or gory. I think the only jump scare was when ML was scared by a mop in a restroom 🚻 (lights went out)

All valid points. So far he’s been okay, but I think what the original poster was mentioning is a general trend in recent dramas to spend way too much time on FL+2ML interactions. Many audiences felt frustrated by it, for example in “Positively Yours”.

Very few people are interested in the watching yet another 2ML who pines over FL while not having any chance. It’s way better when 2ML is with 2FL so we can see arch two couples instead of wasting screen time on 2ML’s pursuit of FL.
