Roseville, CA--but a New Yauwker till I croak!

Kdrama saved my life!  I'm not just saying this...

My hubby and I met at a ballroom dance and then later at a dance class and started dating in 1999.  In 2002 and 2003,  I had bad back injuries that continued to worsen and then I had some more on top of those.  I was living in debilitating pain, feeling useless, miserable and wondering if I'd ever be able to dance again.  My (then) boyfriend (now hubby) continued dancing as much as 6 nights a week for exercise and socialization.  I didn't blame him--this was also his passion and, as the only form of exercise he'll do and stick to, he really needs to go for his health because he's diabetic.  But I admit that I often felt depressed and resentful from the pain and feeling deserted left home alone.  It was no fun going along watching everyone dancing--especially seeing all the woman dancing with him--so I decided to stay home.  I admit that I often thought about doing myself in back then.

When I happened upon kdrama, it changed my life!  I now had something great and totally absorbing of my own to do every night when he was out.  I successfully converted one local bff and then moved on to find a multitude of chingudeul--nationally and globally-- on Facebook who shared my passion.  I'm now the Admin of several groups and share daebak friendships around the world discussing dramas, kpop, everything Asian along with our personal lives.   And so, I honestly credit kdrama with saving my life.
