For now, all we have to go by is that Dad thinks it’s a difficult profession.

Like others mentioned, the sets and actors are real (that’s why players have to dress up too). But the sets are expanded/beatified by use of computer graphics. So this is more of an AR experience (augmented reality) as opposed to VR.

My Boss is a very underrated drama (it should be 8.5 at least). I’m convinced some of the bad ratings are because people confused it with micro-drama that has the same name and came out in the same year — on MDL that micro drama is “My Boss (2024)” but both dramas came out in 2024 😳

To add to the first comment: there’s underlying story of ML trying to clear his father’s name, but that is very deep in the background for now. Right now, it’s leads working together against 2ML’s company.

Drama is very different from the novel so they could have changed this part too.

I think you’d love Shine on Me (just finished). It’s from an excellent author and characters are written quite realistic/grounded (dialogues & banter is great).

It’s best not to think too much about this because the technology is beyond the scope of what is possible today :) But, yes, the have to keep the headset on all the time. That headset presumably has cameras that overlay real world & virtual world (kind of like how some AR/VR headsets do it now).

Drama seems very different from the novel, so let’s hope they don’t do a breakup trope 🙏

LITC was my first time seeing LYX and she was great in that drama. I’m jealous you can binge LITC instead of watching it daily :)

P.S. LYX’s next drama is 3rd drama in Hidden Love/The First Frost universe so it’s bound to be very good.

LYX is really great. And mid-year we will see her in “When I Meet the Moon” which is from the author of Hidden Love, The First Frost and When I Fly Towards You (coincidentally, WIFTY’s director is the director of Love Between Lines).

I think she’d let it go if the ex started dating the bride after they broke up. But he was two-timing so it was a good idea to let the bride know what a douchebag he is.

I feel bad for the actress who played the bride — she didn’t get coupled up in Amongst a Snowstorm of Love and her wedding here didn’t go along as planned (the groom/ex was also in AASOL).

To add to others’ responses — think of this technology as more of AR (Augmented Reality) instead of pure VR (Virtual Reality). So that’s why people dress up in costumes — because they will be seen like that on the glasses that overlay reality (people) and computer graphics (virtual sets).

Yes, like others mentioned they can recognize the faces. And the technology is more like AR (Augmented Reality)… well, a much more advanced and futuristic version of it :)

Shipping them is completely pointless because we know who she will end up with. And 2ML is clearly only nice to her as a way to scheme against ML 😡
