No, he was a doctor in 2011 (or was it 2010?) then had his accident and rest of episode 1 takes place a year later. We may get closer to the present day as the story continues but it will be a gradual progression.

She’s really nice. She played Cat Lord’s assistant (Fox Demon) in Moonlit Reunion this year.

At this point, we are enjoying our lovely leads and what happened back then isn’t a huge mystery that needs to be resolved so it’s fine :)

2ML shows us a negative side of not being able to overcome his own insecurities. He’s the opposite of ML from You Are My Glory (same author). JerkXu is no Yu Tu, lol

FL will meet ML toward end of Ep. 4. After that it’s mostly ML+FL with a sprinkle of 2ML. There’s not really a time skip — FL just leaves college and starts her job.

Not explicitly. They offered some hints so that detectives can figure it out but the leads haven’t talked about it yet (through 17 episodes).

I think this drama provides a lot of evidence about importance of communication. If JerkXu communicated better with FL, he’d not have been fooled by SnakeRong. And, even when it comes to ML, he didn’t have to wait forever to resolve misunderstanding (which is still not resolved).

It hasn’t happened yet (should be this week). And it’s the pretend daughter :) She’s not really FL’s dad’s child (this is not a spoiler — it’s been mentioned already). She just likes to go around and pretend to be the rich man’s daughter 🙄

She’s even okay with everyone at the company knowing he’s pursuing her. It’s a welcome change from a typical situation where leads hide their relationship.

Sigh… when people offer opinions like that, I just find it easiest to block them. We can say many things about this drama (or any other drama), but going so hard against an actress is uncalled for.

RiskChris is so, so much better than SnakeRong. Hopefully, she can help 2ML improve himself.

Someone mentioned that it’s possible that episode per day count is impacted by sponsorship (more sponsorship money, more episodes per day). But I think many dramas go do 1 episode per day on some days so it’s not that unusual here. Sigh… still, it’s going to be a long wai 🥺
