It’s interesting to hear a different point of view. I actually prefer alternating flashbacks when they are done well (like in The First Frost, for example). In this drama, perhaps duration of past flashbacks could be cut down a little bit — maybe it’s just me, but — after 8 episodes — I am much more interested in the present timeline as opposed to what happened in the past :)

Those are real ages and FL looks way younger. Drama has characters being 11 years apart, I believe.

Based on previews, seems it will take Jane until episode 3 to realize that Dai is looking at her NOT because she’s upset but because of 🥰

Episode 29 trailer is giving me anxiety 😟😳🫣

I don’t mind product placement for dining establishments or coffee shops (people have to eat somewhere), but product placement for drinks is always funny — a character always makes sure to drink with the label facing the camera (viewer) while tilting their head slowly 🤣

Funny thing is that Kopiko isn’t even a Korean company (it’s Indonesian). But I do get a chuckles of visits to Subway in K-dramas. Although, there’s less Subway and more Eggdrop product placement now 😁

Not that it matters to Victoria; she’s living her best life. She was a leader of a K-pop group despite being Chinese, so she’s heard everything by now.

Makeup department in Fight for Love is partially responsible because they made ML look so, so young. He looked older in Moonlight which came out in 2021 (not to mention last year’s LGIEF).

No secondary couple in first four episodes yet. But FL’s BFF is single and ML’s two friends/partners may be single too (not sure yet). According to Official Drama Rules, FL’s BFF will date one of ML’s buddies then 🤣

So far (ep. 1-4), this is a really good drama. It’s nice they are mixing present day and the past, so we are fending out what happened as we go along (a bit like The First Frost).

Earlier today, another commenter & I concluded that FL can drown in a rain puddle or a cup 🤣🤣🤣

He’s not a bad guy for sure, but I think we all wish the love triangle trope could have been avoided. Instead of spending time on that drama, we’d all much rather see 2ML+2FL be together and try to put on an exhibition despite her family’s objections :)

I’m sure some payback is going to be coming FL’s way but deep inside ML is for sure happy. Next time they sleep in the same room, he’s definitely not going to be keeping his hands to himself 🫣❤️‍🔥

I’m convinced they are doing that for giggles on purpose. Just like writers of Would You Marry Me? added every single K-drama trope when they are coming up with ideas 😁🤣

There are still a lot of plot lines to resolve: stopping ML+2FL’s wedding, getting ML’s mom a divorce, convincing ML’s family to accept FL, convincing 2FL’s family to accept 2ML, corproraye affairs between ML & his sister, FL’s sister & her husband, ML’s sister’s toxic ex… and MOST IMPORTANTLY — teaching FL how to swim! 😁

The number of commenters who like 2ML (through 8 episodes) is dangerously close to being ZERO 0️⃣. I’m still sure that 2FL+2ML will end up with each other, but they quickly need to switch 2ML’s attention to 2FL.

To be fair, loan sharks got paid off, so FL & her mom are in no immediate danger. The sister & her husband are free to come back for FL’s inevitable wedding 💒

She will definitely try to do some shady things to ML&FL, but in ep. 15 or 16 she will have a change of heart. I’m thinking that since they showed her taking care of dogs, they are signaling she’s not such a bad person. And, especially, since they introduced a vicious & toxic 2FL’s brother.

At this point, I’m convinced they are just doing it on purpose to make this drama even more over-the-top. Kind of how they made Grandma in My Dearest Nemesis as ultra, mega, super, mean person to emphasize the trope of evil parent(s). 😳🙄🤔
