Yes, pretty much. I think the good guys coul have disposed of two fiends there (or, at least, attempted to fight them) and FL didn’t kill Ms. Lin’s assistant when she was rescuing the girl (I assume the assistant is a fiend). Maybe the good guys don’t want to completely make fiends mad because the old man + 4 hunters are still being held hostage. So that could be the explanation 🤔
It depends. if you aren’t watching in real time already, it may be best to just binge it all once it’s done. This is definitely one of those dramas where its hard to be patient waiting for a new episode 😁
Yes that scene was in the preview but seems to be cut out in actual ep. Could be the director’s decision thinking…
Yes, I was so surprised not to see it in the actual episode but it definitely made more sense like this. Poor ML is way too weak to be pushing heavy mine carts.
eps 23. I really was pissed that the hunters let the fiends go after the fight to protect Ling.I am also angry…
Yes, seems like a bit of a plot hole. Realstically, Hunters should try to kill every Fiend, if possible. So letting human thugs go is okay but letting go the two fiends — not very smart.
In the opening animation. when it says, the meteor crashed. we see the origin of the fiend I think: we see the…
I haven’t read the book but I feel like the meteor ☄️ brought some substance (or caused that substance to be created) which allowed humans + animals and animals + animals to combine together and eventually created fiends.
Somebody please help me understand the meat that turns feinds into human. Where exactly does it come from?
Based on what we have seen so far, it’s something that comes from deep underground or — at least — underground mine is used to transform something into that substance. But what it is and how exactly it works, is probably something that remaining episodes answer.
Thank you. I share your frustration. Its the dastardly influence of short dramas. Now all the long dramas are…
TDHR could have had a very poignant ending where heroes are separated at the end and people would have accepted it :) Instead, the ending felt very flat and not logically following events of prior episodes. While watching the drama it felt like first 34-35 episodes were setting up one ending and then — very drastically — the last 1-2 episodes switched tracks to unsuccessfully lead us to a different ending.
Not being a native speaker, I can’t opine one way or another on the quality of the writing ✍️ But I liked the storyline of TDHR (until the last 1-2 episodes) because it avoided most annoying tropes & cliches. But perhaps that was due to the source material :)
At this point, more people like Ms. Lin as opposed to Xing Shen. At least, she’s kind of fair and honorable…
Relatively honorable insofar as monsters are concerned. Like a mafia boss with a code of conduct. Obviously, she’s not a good person but she makes me wish there was a way for humans & fiends to coexist peacefully.
Ep.21 ... I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly, but based on the theory in ep.21… could fiends have…
Yes, that’s what they are theorizing. That the special pink goo mutated humans + ____ into fiends. Maybe as a result of the asteroid crash or whatever happened in the very beginning.
