You are welcome! For what it’s worth, I looked through my list and didn’t find any Korean romcoms who got 10/10 from me. Business Proposal got 8/10 (I do whole numbers) and Love to Hate You got 9/10. For now, I’d personally put this drama at 9/10 (very good but not groundbreaking). You might have watched “Because This Is My First Life” already (it’s from 2017), but that one got 10/10 from me because it’s the best mix of laugh out loud comedy and heart-tugging drama — it set a bar incredibly high for “guy & girl are forced to live together genre”. And the first 5-10 minutes of episode 1 are a masterful parody of product placement in dramas (FL is a junior screenwriter).

I’d not say that ep. 1 & 2 are bad, but it definitely gets better as it goes along. Ep. 3 & 4 provide more depth to the characters and ep. 6 is the best so far (and had highest ratings). Oh, also don’t forget to watch epilogues. They are in every episode except episode 2. However, in 1/3/4/5 they put epilogues AFTER preview of next episode so many people missed them. In ep. 6 it’s earlier (after photo montage).
This drama was hated when cast was just announced so honestly I knew people were gonna nitpick every thing …….…
MDL has a very useful “block” function (you go into a user’s account and block them and it will their posts from showing up). I’ve been doing that with some recent dramas and my comments pages have looked much better. No need to spend time arguing with trolls/antis/haters — oftentimes they thrive on getting attention. Also, a lot of times these people pretend to be fans of another actor/actress to try to start fan wars. Block/report them, downvote their reviews, and move on :)
i do think iu is a wonderful actress, but the script and character quality between this show and "when life…

It’s kind of a recent trend for K-dramas to be 12 episodes long (sometimes even 10 episodes) instead of a more…
There will be a prequel web novel at least — hopefully, they will have an English version:
“An official 30-chapter prequel web novel for the MBC fantasy drama Perfect Crown (starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok) will launch on Kakao Page on May 16, 2026. Written by the drama’s scriptwriter, the story explores the backstories of the main characters before the events of the show. It is a web novel, not a webtoon“
They are in a world where demons don’t exist. Neither do powers. Hope this helps
Poor WSG who will have to spend forever trying to explain everything to WWY. “And then we jumped into a stone where we inhabited bodies of my adopted parents and spent 50 years living together as a married couple”.
Guys , I love this series so much , why is it only 12 episodes ??😭😭 After a long time , I really liked some…
It’s kind of a recent trend for K-dramas to be 12 episodes long (sometimes even 10 episodes) instead of a more common 16 episodes (prior to that even longer dramas were being made). In addition to what the other person mentioned, it has to do with viewer attention and script quality. There are definitely dramas that used all 16 episodes wisely, but very often they had filler episodes just to make the show longer. A typical move would be to have the leads broken up for 2-4 episodes towards the end because of something silly & convoluted. Nowadays, they still like to do the breakup trope but it’s less annoying because it gets resolved in the same episode or maybe the next episode.
Guys i have decided that i'll give it a go. Many people are saying that its bad and rating it down but I want…
It’s quite a fun drama and negative reviews/comments are just a drop in a bucket when you consider overall popularity of the show. It’s popular on both local Korean TV (they are even re-airing episodes 1-6 before ep. 7) and on Disney+ internationally (top K-drama debut). I wouldn’t call ep. 1 & 2 bad or boring, but things definitely get more & more interesting with each episode and episode 6 was the best so far 😁
Her brother and SIL are comically evil. They aren’t the classic evil couple like the ones in CLOY, but they…
The brother is actually married to an aristocrat who is NOT wealthy (and her family didn’t like that she married a commoner). And at this point brother & sister-in-law are more like supporters. Brither was presented as a bag guy in the beginning but now they are making us like him+his wife… well, especially his wife. She’s clearly too good for him, but loves him a lot and tries her best to support him and keep him in check 😁
So far it’s been pretty average and nothing to get excited about (8.0 level, I’d say, but personal preferences…
Haha… that’s true. This drama is up to 7.9 so the antifan-bots and fan-bots even each other out. But it’s definitely annoying how MDL lets people rate episodes in advance. Or how a targeted attack can cause a just-completed drama to drop 0.5 points in 24 hours (like what happened with Veil of Shadows).

Haha… I think he’s making up for past dramas by giving us the happiest possible ending. The only way it could be more happier would be if we had some dragon fox (fox dragon?) babies! And, yes, apparently that’s possible in fantasy and such dragon+9-tailed fox child would be ultra powerful 🤣
They stuck on timespace is more likely and they will find a way to bring them back on season 2
To make their CP fans happy, they should bring them out of the time space into modern China, still don’t have any memories of each other but now it’s going to be a modern romantic drama 🤣🥰
You’d think having older sisters would make him more resilient to women, but I guess not, lol… It was hilarious when his ex moved in and made it seem like a favor to him that she didn’t take the larger room 🤣
ep 1 was so much fun! does anyone know if we’re getting 2 couples or a love triangle/square?
One couple for sure (leads, that’s a given) but other potential couples are a very big question mark for now. There are some hints but we don’t know the endgame.
