His majesty, goes to school, like a proper school? I thought he would be educated through homeschooling/private…
We knew that the prince attended school, so it makes sense that the king would too. It seems that itās a place mostly for royals & related people except when someone bribes them⦠sorry, ādonates moneyā like FLās dad did.
Wait she crashes head on into his car, but it was on the assistant driver side, how come his forehead is bleeding…
It actually makes sense ā the force of impact would have made him bump his head on the left side. Now, she probably would have had airbags deploy but they usually turn them off for movies/TV, so thatās normal.
For sure thereās a paparazzi there to take photos of her handing him treats. But the kiss looked improvised…
I think she came up with the idea (because she mentions something like that right before) but they both were in on the plan. Letās be honest, they couldāve found a ln easier way to get him food/medicine. And, anyway, this is pretty common with celebrities anyway where they invite friendly paparazzi to take photos.
good thing about historical dramas no product placements
I read thereās actually product placement in historical dramas too, but itās not as obvious because itās based on color schemes and/or specific names of ingredients/potions. And, in C-dramas, apparently in-costume actors break the 4th wall to do pitches for products (but this doesnāt get shown on international-facing platforms).
Why does Yun I Rang not want the Grand Price and FL to be together? Why does Yun I Rang hate the Grand Prince?…
We may not know all the reasons yet, but for now the main reason is to protect her sonās position as the king and, hence, her status as Queen Mother. The prince is insanely popular and is a de facto king (acts as regent) which means that he may want to simply take over the throne one day (and, actually, he admits that to FL in ep. 3). So Queen Mother wants to reduce his involvement with royal affairs by getting him married (which means he will have to move out of the palace) and, specifically, married to someone non-powerful that can be controlled by Queen Mother & her family. So sheās furious when ML wants to marry FL who is from a chaebol and can use her influence to further elevate princeās status.
P.S. We think that The Prince wants to take over the throne not because he is craving power (not like Queen Mother), but to make things easier for the child king.
Is there no Kdrama where the main lead cuts off contact with toxic parents? Iām not talking about outright evil…
The best example would be C-drama āThe First Frostā. Without spoiling too much, FLās mom was absolutely terrible & selfish and, at the end, FL decides not to forgive her and doesnāt reconcile. But that drama was based on a very popular book by a very talented writer, so itās a level above most typical K- and C-dramas.
And, anyway, this is pretty common with celebrities anyway where they invite friendly paparazzi to take photos.
