based on the novel, the ML’s meat & blood is coveted by all demons because of his special constitution; it tastes good. the demon hunting parts in the novel were so suspenseful with a lot of jumpscares. yes I hope they rewrite the story, even though the genre is a bit different…
But I can’t help but feel the casting directors think HMH’s face is too trusting that he would be taken advantage of by all these girls in each story haha

btw it’s so funny because he still calls it “Chang Sheng Gu”, but the FL side calls it “Nian Xiang Si”. This production needs to sort it out 😂
