Unfortunately FoF and HMH was bombarded with so much hate campaign during its run so it couldn’t reach 10k. I was really sad when it happened, I cried for both Zhu yan and Hou Minghao. And magically, for all the viewers, the last episode aired while it was raining; in China and even in my country. It’s a 10K in my heart.

Hi! I think you’re new to this sort of genre. They don’t focus so much on the romance but they focus more on the plot and political intrigue regarding overarching themes like loyalty etc. At the end of the day they are just professionals acting, and watching this does not mean we are advocating for age gaps in real life. As long as there is no exploitation involved. I heard there won’t be any explicit scenes, so you can rest assured. It’s got political intrigue, plot twist after plot twist interwoven into character introductions and relationship building. Very interesting, detailed and the characters all have their own agenda; very realistic.
If they bring women’s legal to 13, some of you will approve and use it to defend them acting a romance scenes…
relax, it’s just a fictional historical drama, it’s purely professional and they won’t have any explicit scenes. anyways back then people got married young. and the age of consent in china is 14 yo. 13 years old is just wrong, but 17 playing a non-explicit role is okay. in comparison there’s a lot of teenage love stories that has more explicit scenes than this.
anyways this drama’s romance is more like a first love kinda thing and also mutual support & understanding.
