THIS IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD!!! The plot is dense packed and nothing is unecessary filler for now! I can’t wait to see how things go! I’m already rewatching 😭❤️
No hate to the FL, I just think she doesn't give FL vibes. If I didn't know the casting lineup, I wouldn't be…
I think she feels a bit out of place because she’s the only one who’s naive, sunny and bubbly. This creates contrast and will be super satisfying when her character grows and matures at the end of the series. Anyways, watching her being funny actually is quite entertaining, no wonder xwy fell for her, she actually makes his bleak life much more colorful.
I was browsing Instagram and this came up on my feed since I follow a HMH fan channel. It's a video for the theme…
Hey! I think you’re missing out some details. He was shirtless because his back was just injured. He hugged her because she said I want to be with you. He’s just relieved there’s another kind soul who wants to support him. But yes, we’ll keep you guys posted on this page about how the romance is when it airs kay. Feel free to sit it out first.
A few observations based on the various trailers for this series: 1) The FL does not look like 'lead actress'…
the ML is haggard because he is battle-worn. the ML said in an interview that since the first episode, XiaoWuyi has entered a countdown of his life. Realistically he should look like a dying man hahaha
I feel the age of the FL is too young. She's only 17, which is considered underage in my country. And to be with…
I understand you. Different countries have different age for adulthood. If it makes you feel better, they’re just acting professionally. So I don’t think you should think about it too much, esp because I personally think there is no exploitation involved, the ML’s schedule is crazy packed there’s literally no time for sleeping let alone dating…
The plot and Minghao are my cup of tea but her age is not ahhhhhh what to do 🥲🧘🏻♀️
Rest assured, watching this drama does not mean you’re advocating for age gaps in real life. They’re purely professional and I heard there’s no intimate scenes. If you’re still uncomfortable you can wait until we finish watching then we’ll let you know how it goes.
Hi! I think you’re new to this sort of historical dramas. Some actually don’t have any kissing scenes at all.…
oh thanks for clarifying! unfortunately i heard they won’t add those sort of scenes, but we’ll have to see once it airs. So it’s not really like a passionate love story in that sense that you want.
I can not wait to see some good chemistry and kissing scenes in the historic drama of Ai MI. Hope , the fact that…
Hi! I think you’re new to this sort of historical dramas. Some actually don’t have any kissing scenes at all. In this sort of work, there are greater overarching themes that is discussed and highlighted, like loyalty, understanding and mutual support. IF this is not your cup of tea and you prefer explicit movies, please don’t linger here and please don’t ruin the discussion page for people who actually care for it. Find your happiness elsewhere.
Because it’s a historical drama. I understand why it makes some people uncomfortable. At the same time, it’s worth remembering that this is a fictional historical drama, not a real-life relationship. From what has been shared, there are no intimate scenes, and productions involving minors are generally subject to strict legal and professional safeguards. Romance is a broad category, from the trailers, it’s about mutual support and understanding, not really so much on physical attraction. Whether someone enjoys the story is a personal choice, but portraying a romance on screen isn’t the same as endorsing an adult–minor relationship in real life.
Will not be watching. Because why is a seventeen-year-old with a nearly thirty-year-old as a romantic partner?…
because it’s a historical drama. just because they’re professionally paired doesn’t mean it’s true in real life. and I heard there won’t be any intimate scenes. if it’s uncomfortable for you, you can skip it first. we’ll let you know how it goes later after we watch kay.
Ehm, FL actress is 17. We're not getting any kissing scenes here, right? 👀
from what we heard, it’s purely professional, and there aren’t any intimate scenes. but we’ll watch it first for you if you’re uncomfortable. we’ll post updates later
I wonder how are people not concerned that she was cast as a 16yo, they started shooting day after her 17th birthday…
we heard there’s no intimate scenes. after all, at the end of the day, they’re just professional actors doing their jobs. so for those of you who are concerned, you guys don’t need to watch it first, we’ll watch it and let you know about the romance in this drama kay.
the dates of release moved up, so iqiyi using kttph as a filler drama just as youku -litc & warming up platform…
i saw a melon saying that it’s because another drama got moved back so this was moved forwards… oh well, i guess we can only judge and see for ourselves how they’ll promote this later
