You are correct, the US does have those statistics - but what China has achieved in a just a couple of decades is miraculous.
They are now powerful enough not to have to play subservient and submit to US demands. ( Got to love China standing up to Trumps bullshit.). And they are making advances in technology, even surpassing us in west in some fields.
One thing that China does have (like Korea, Japan) is quality human resources. Its not just IQ (their average IQs is higher than western) but they have discipline.
