Mind you this is a 20 year old who just started having romantic feelings towards someone. And has a past connection…
I think that it would have been more impactful if it was directed differently - if he had tried not to cry(holding in tears) in front of his love interest but cried and fell apart when he was alone.
lets laugh at that girl who wanna win master’s heart that is already taken 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣…
I dont find this trope amusing as you do. Its usually misogynistic and lazy story telling as its been done so many times
its annoying when bl series make women the idiot for falling for a man who is gay. And they tend to make them a figure of hate as the women usually never accept the man is gay. so they continue pursuing ml and harass and plot against the mc.
I think in reality most woman would back off - be disappointed which is understandable, but accepting as there is not much you can do if your crush is is gay.
Im getting bored on the GMM type series that is derivative, filled with tropes, and uses the same of formula. Just finished watching On Cloud Nine and looking for similar type series that are more original and offer a more meaningful story. Your review convinced me to watch this show.
Actually with thai bls I often experience this that you either get the hype or not, once you have tried the series…
lol - I really wanted and tried to like it - i even like the actors but i couldnt continue to watch it. Im just left bewildered at the ratings and wondering if they are smoking something else.
Actually with thai bls I often experience this that you either get the hype or not, once you have tried the series…
I think its part of a herd mentality. We are influenced by others and jump on to this bandwagon and brainwash ourselves. Otherwise we would be missing out or lonely.
I enjoy it but its not as engaging for me as My stand in or Only friends.
I myself am trying to understand why my My magic prophesy is so popular and rates so highly. Khemjira is a bit different - more original and its NOT GMM. Also I believe the book is popular

Im with you there as well. Most shows are becoming derivative -same old tropes with diff actors. I have watched to many now and I get embarrassed when i see grown men tending to wounds, patting each other on the head or talking in baby voices thinking its cute. (particularly GMM)
You're in the wrong comment section. You talked more about Shine than Khemjira. If you want to discuss about shine,…
not a problem - its good to have discussions. They dont have a monopoly on what can be posted.
Shine is objectively better quality, but harder to watch - ie takes more mental effort. This show is easier to gulp down - like eating fast food. At least for me. I have put Shine on hold for now as I want to watch it when Im in the mood.
People say they dont want GMM type shows but those are the shows that are more popular unfortunately.
Do you have separate bathrooms for men and women in your home?
They may want separate toilets as well as cubicles that lock. They may want to feel safe after walking out of cubicle to wash hands in an area that is confined.
But how patronising of you to tell sexual assault victims what would make them feel secure.
" create controversy out of nothing" It isn't nothing. It is literally one professional roasting another…
I have read that the kdrama industry is quite bad in the way they treat foreigners - sort of like an "apartheid system" for koreans v foreigners. I do cringe when they find any white person to speak english and this is embarrassing both in kdramas and cdramas. They are random white people (though usually not as white as the koreans of chinese actors).
"The detailed anecdote was unprofessional on the part of the voice actor..."
Firstly, I think this article was written in such a way as to cause get people to be offended - it may not be accurate reporting.
Secondly, I think it would be interesting to ask the actor feels instead of speculating how he supposedly felt. Maybe he laughed at his accent as well with the person dubbing him. We are all projecting how he would feel.
He probably knows that his role was going to be dubbed, He would be aware that he can not speak Mandarin or that he has an accent and thus would not see the comment as a personal insult. Its not like his craft was being insulted. Something that he can do is found amusing. If i am a doctor I would be offended if you insulted my medical knowledge, but wouldnt care if you laughed at my acting skills - as I dont value them and Im aware that its not my expertise.
sadly for you on top of being a bad actor he has no support from his country
I get that you hate him and I dont care to change your mind - but you cant change mine either. But from what i saw on KP - he was good looking and hot, and he was a convincing actor - one of the better ones there.

There are many women who are rape and sexual assault victims and you show no respect for their needs and wants. I am creeped out by those that show no regard for their feelings.
Your sex and your genitalia is of no interest to me. My security is. You are arguing that you want woman to share bathrooms with men - that is a security issue.
A woman has little defence against a man. I dont care about your sex or gender but a man who has a prostate -testosterone is stronger than a woman irrespective of their gender. A woman does not stand a chance against an attack.
Most woman who are sexual assault victims are gender critical because of EXPERIENCE so f*ck you if you diminish their fears and put your self interest above theirs.
And what people like or dont like or would want to see more off.
People throw the word hateful comments without basis sometimes.

Unfortunately the market seems to accept it.

I would love to ban gambling or tax it so that its unprofitable. They should go after the gambling companies and not the victims.
They were not rude or disrespectful like you are.
People like you can f.off
You know there are some people who have created a new account like this month so they can hate on this show.
But how patronising of you to tell sexual assault victims what would make them feel secure.

Luckily in my country their needs are considered

What is wrong with you?
Are you a pervert?
