I consider this one of the areas he’s strong in 😭No one can make a forced kiss look like an actual kiss the way he does. I watched Shadow Love and the forced kiss there looked bad. But in POJ, I think the director failed him with all those camera zoom outs

She was alone with the younger Yu brother only twice. Some people don’t get traumatized that easily either. She already had it rough growing up

I agree. I felt the same watching TFF and Shine one me. It felt like the women just went along with it. Looked so one sided. But I love this drama. The love story looks actually a love story

I think they have good chemistry, enough to carry a drama. But for me, ZLH had even better chemistry with Bai Lu and XRH. Still, I find this drama to be the best among all his works.

I’m watching TXW for the first time, so I can’t really compare her chemistry with others. I also think they’re not pushing that off-screen dating angle like they often do to hype a drama. Maybe it’s because the actors aren’t that close, which is totally normal, you don’t become friends with every colleague.

But this one was really stupid. She basically took the whole war into her own hands when she was no one there. Most people would know their place in that situation.
If we say she’s just clueless and simple minded, that’s why I’m more surprised she’s supposed to become the same rank as the male lead.

I won’t blame her for drugging the male lead and going in his place at the war, since she didn’t know who her husband actually was. Male lead's face has nothing to do with it😭 You're saying as if if u don't find the actress pretty?

15 episodes left and she still seems way too naive...honestly, kind of dumb, messing with the main hostage when she was basically a nobody. How is she supposed to become a general on the same level as the male lead? Any novel readers know? Is it because of nepotism from her husband or her father or does she actually become that strong at the very end? She’s good hearted and a skilled martial artist but she’s not strategic at all

They’re toxic but unpredictable to watch. Even if it’s not heartwarming, they still make people feel intense emotions like hatred. When I watch them, I don’t see them as a romantic couple to root for but entertainment. The third couple is too reserved to have chemistry, though individually they’re good.

I’m not saying his brutality is justified because of his past miseries. It’s just that he’s done too much to redeem himself now and even if he tried to be soft now, his opponents would crush him. So for survival, he has to do what he needs to do. A tragic ending is what he deserves because of his own actions and fate

Ok I’ve already said this in my comment that as an audience, people can skip any scenes they want. I do it too. But ganging up, boycotting and announcing it to the whole world is just disrespectful

I don’t think he even has any good side to offer. If we assume his current personality is shaped entirely by trauma and not his DNA, it makes sense. After his parents died, the person who raised him, his nanny, betrayed him. The person he may have liked even a little ran away. He’s evil himself but all bad things just keep happening to him too. The birth of his son is another trauma and betrayal, according to spoilers.He can’t survive if he goes even a little soft.

The only thing he can do for Qianqian is save her life, get slapped by her and still smile, when he chops off other people like vegetables for barely any reason.

If he had the power to change himself for the woman he fancies, he would have been a protagonist but he’s a villain here.

I don’t think he understands love the way most people do. He only understands possession and power. He just wants to keep her by his side, even if she starves or he has to keep her tied up. He's sick in head. I think it also comes from the fact that she ran away once. He seems to hold a grudge over that too.
If he had actually loved her like a normal person, then he would just be another version of Xie Zheng, onsidering their past, how they met their wives and their obsession with them.

Seriously no one would want to be with a guy like Qimin in real life. No one is even asking for QQ to end up with him but some people are still so enraged about it. I really don’t understand it.

Notice how no one wants their happily ever after in this story, even if they like watching their scenes. There’s a difference. These two actors are charismatic and have great chemistry, so it’s normal to enjoy watching them together
