my favourite is Shine on me, in my eyes there the ML is the most mature, at least from the hundreds of dramas…
I stand corrected I also know Li Xian I just didn't recognise him after his name, he is definitely one of my favourites, I see we hame similar taste, in Meet yourself he was exceptional, he truly is a man worth watching, he embodies what in my eyes true manliness is, protecting and caring and uplifting

Title The Early Spring Spoiler
Did Luke’s mom really asked him if he used protection and if he catched a STD? First time seeing a parent asking…
well then that makes this scene even more hilarious 😅😂 because she was definitely joking... a doctor knows the signs of STD

no worries, what you wrote is quite subjective because different looking actors can also have this, I looked up the actors, and they have in common feature wise strong jawlines, mostly square head shape, strong dominating presence. Manliness means different things depending on which part of the word we come and especially now that women start becoming more independent their perception of men also change. I personally prefer the more angelic type of manliness where equality and care dominate even if appearance, I personally never like rough, dominating presence men. So I rarely watch movies with them, that is why I wanted to clarify what manly means for you. thank you so much!

I didn't ask for actors names, I wanted you to describe with your own words what manly means to you, but thanks anyway I will look them up, I don't know besides the first either of them.

what do you consider then manly? the appearance? I was only thinking about as a quality and not as an external manifestation , I don't really care how ML look just what energies they transmit

yes she did ask that, I have seen it also in other dramas but not this direct, usually they just hint at it, but here she asked it concretely... however I don't understand the mother, since his pains weren't in that part of his body 😅😂

Ladies and gents, please drop modern drama recommendations where the ml is mature and manly, and has acting skills.…

How do I explain this to people that Luke is flawed but de don’t deserve to be labelled as red flag ! The guy…
I absolutely agree with you, people demand from him to be empathetic but the viewers aren't empathetic with him. They just cannot understand what it does growing up with a father like his. My grandpa was the same and my father barely can speak and especially he cannot express his feelings and he says a lot of times that in his head things are different but when he wants to express himself it cames out totally different than what he intended to say. If the traumas are not solved properly then they can't control how they express themselves, people think just because these characters are fictional they are 2 dimensional. They have depth and layers just like normal people. Luke needs to grow out of his traumas to be able to even do what Flora expects from him, it is so easy to judge superficially people. I just don't understand how come they only see that Luke can't talk when Flora is the same. They both have communication problems, partly because of their upbringing and partly because they live a society where expressing themselves and especially their feelings it is condemned.

Title My Bias, My Boss Spoiler
He is gay.
really? how and when? maybe I missed it... because as far as I remember they just said that he had a boyfriend back then, that doesn't make him gay.

Not exactly a red flag once you understand how he works but for some he might be since you do need to put a lot…
as a boss he has a right to test people if they can handle pressure or not, in a high pressure environment weak people aren't meant to be, and he only said those words before he started dating her... professors and bosses always do this... especially career driven people like him... but I understand also your point

for example when someone is indeed delusional, how should we say it in a manner that we say delusional without hurting them?

my problem is also with the FL, she is so unreasonable and as the ML said delusional, she is so in her head, she keeps pushing him away without a true reason and cannot even accept a gift... so what if you don't snowboard accept it and give it to someone else if you don't like it... she is stubborn and childish... she doesn't act her age at all... the first 10 episodes were really good... but the 11th episode made me really frustrated about her 😅hopefully she will grow out of this childish behaviour by the end of the drama

Title The Early Spring Spoiler
I don't see him as red flag at all. He is blunt but he is honest. He also cares about other people in the sense…
absolutely, but I have been reading a lot of comments every day here and most people keep saying he is a red flag and don't understand why, he never lied to anyone, never tricked anyone, if he would've been a red flag he would've been the one who wanted to keep the relationship secret, but he just agreed to what the FL wanted...
