A lot of people are busy being annoyed with the FL's personality but more than that, I'm disappointed with the…
from my psychologist perspective I don't agree with you, they conveyed very realistic how 2 traumatised people act if they haven't fully recovered. Chen Yi has a personality that deeply roots in the false belief that he doesn't deserve anything good, these people hold back themselves and cannot accelerate in love, they usually make one step ahead 2 back, the actors did an amazing job portraying these 2 personality types the self loather and the abandoned one, until they solve their inner problems they cannot have the love you showed with that diagram.
ikr he looked soooo thin in that i hated that outfit and then the buff SML they kept a button up long sleeve on…
nonetheless this skinny built suits Chen Yi perfectly, in psychology this type of personality we call "poor me"... it is the type who sacrifices everything for others and only eats after others ate enough, causing him to eat little or nothing, this reflects in the body type also, the core of this is self loathing, thinking he doesn't deserve anything good in life, which is not surprising after what kind of childhood he had, maybe SWL lost weight for this also (because in Shine on me he wasn't as skinny as here)
yeah same here... I really don't understand why Chinese parents are so abusive and controlling. I know see why…
yes they are, but my Chinese friends aren't, I have talked in these past year with hundreds of Chinese people and most of them have overbearing controlling parents just like in this drama
Finally my torture is over, I finished this dramaI'm officially a hater of this dramaSpecially since many other…
I mostly agree with you, but let's not forget that the voice actors also play a huge role in cdramas, at least in my experience I loved every single cdrama very much where SWL used his own voice, but in this one the voice actor was a terrible match (in my opinion) for SWL and just couldn't transmit the emotions of SWL... however the directing and the cut were just such a huge mess for me and especially the transition between scenes... as an artist seeing this kind of lack and disrespect to a well done job disappointed me vastly
yeah same here... I really don't understand why Chinese parents are so abusive and controlling. I know see why Chinese only visit their parents when they are forced because of Chinese holidays.
I'm thinking now if We Chen Ye's father also ask him to give his own son cellphone password
I don't think from Cheng Ye's reaction that he gave the password willingly, but we will see in today's episode the details of his father's abusive parenting
I guess itβs different for everyone but it is weird that Wen Cheng Ye does not lock his phone or if he does,…
every country has its own legislation, if this gives you peaceful mind then of course you can to protect your child, everyone does what they see the best at any given moment

I do understand your point of view, but as a psychologist who had her thesis on parenting and how different parenting styles influence children I know that a harmonious parenting would never have this ending. Only children who are on different levels controlled want to break out from those chains. If a parent can a balanced healthy relationship with its child then the child is protected from naivety. I also was a child and teenager, I also was tempted many times to do things that are harmful, but I never did anything that could harm me or others, because I had my parents trust. Anyway, this topic is complex, I just don't agree and is a sore spot for me the controlling and abusive parenting. I know from direct experiences that children will never be curious about things that their parents taught them in time instead of keeping secrets with the thought "they are too young". I really appreciate your insights on this topic, I am always curious and opened to understand other viewpoints than mine especially on topics that are important for me.
