for me personally yes, it is worth watching, however you are right the secondary couple is more intense because of many reasons... and don't forget the main couple liked each other for years and the secondary couple just met and they want what the other has which makes their relationship more intense

I don't think they watched the series, that is why they are asking... they only saw reels/video clips from the series

omg half kidding half serious this series should get the horror category with all the monster parents in it... I mean I have seen many monster parents in many dramas but this one is the most intense... I mean come on a top notch doctor behave like a murderer... this just intensifies how much the surface is an illusion a well rehearsed mask and not the reality... and sadly this might just be a tv show... but there are also in reality people just like him... and his ex... the monster mother who "protects" her daughter by excessive control... they do belong with each other... both psychopaths

that doberman statue should be casted as third main lead 😅😂 it definitely is an interesting addition to this tv drama

omg this series deserves higher score, I haven't seen anything as funny as this series in Chinese cinematography... so amazing I can't stop laughing 😅😂😂😂that spa scene in ep5 is epic

I just started watching this and I am already in love... I wanted something lighthearted because I have watched lately to many Chinese melodramas and I needed something that is truly romcom and not just advertised as such. I love it, I laughed a lot and the main leads wowza 😅🥵indeed sizzling hooot 🤭

this series is definitely not for everyone! only for those who can handle death in a detached way, because there are episodes where they show quite a lot of details to body restoration before funeral and also quite a few death scenarios

actually if you pay attention the doctor looked intensely at the coffin just after everyone left and as we know the CP was a schemer so he did have a plan for this... the doctor took is barely alive body and saved him... however if by any chance the cure wouldn't have worked why tell the FL just to break her heart twice... in medical history there are many cases that even doctors thought someone was dead because they had such a shallow breathing... at least this is how I would've done it instead of the CP...but filming all of this would've been quite hard in my opinion so they just let the viewer figure it out by themselves... because how the doctor looked at the coffin makes it easy to guess at the end...
