Well by 17 he's back to being the Marquis...so they are trying to get there before the midway point - it does seem they really wanted to establish the main couple's relationship before they separate them. I too was looking like...I know their is a lot of ground to cover so...but yeah, looks like these next episodes moves things along pretty quickly.

No. He just understands the politics. No way he'd be allowed to marry the Grand Princess. And if Princess wasn't young and spoiled she'd realize he does care for her, but isn't in a position to marry her. Silly girl.

Also, how does ol'girl not recognize her husband? I know it's been about 10 years, but he couldn't have changed that much. He looked as confused as I did when she didn't recognize him.
