Did you watch today's episode. His father was supposed to be crown prince. Do you think the show let that little tidbit slip for nothing? I'm not saying they are going with the book ending...I'm just pointing out they are setting the nuggets to do so.

Well they used case 4 (5?) to set up the Palace drama. Someone said the last case - her father's case - is 10 episodes. So my guess they are choosing things to move the story closer to that case so they can spend the rest of the season dealing with that and palace intrigue.

Yeah. And it's clear she had to wait for all of them to be in place at the same time. She couldn't afford to kill one or two and wait for the opp to kill the others b/c she may get caught once the killing started. Prince Yu's birthday was the perfect setup. Loved it!

Also I'm glad you said that b/c I never heard them say "Shifu" and I was like okay not that kind of Master - Lots of C-Drama watching I've picked up some words here and there. lol
