She seemed upset with Garam because he abandoned her. Feeling abandoned and falling into a state of uncertainty and failure, she kept wondering if Garam had left because she was not good enough (as mentioned at the end of episode 6). Out of that sense of inferiority, she withdrew into herself and endured the three teachers, simply because she now needed this coaching job to make a living. So, I don’t think she’s too much to blame, my friend.

me too they are giving us breadcrumbs of romance and and we are just following along lol 😆
Their chemistry is so good that it would be quite a pity if they ended up just friends when the drama ends.

In Korea, people criticize the drama’s loveline, even though I think the two have great chemistry. Some also say the drama is heavy and hard to watch, which I find quite hard to understand

I Ji was once abandoned, and the feeling of being left behind by the person you love most is terrible. It affected her in some ways, making her unable to strongly resist her superior because she was afraid—afraid of having no way out and afraid of ending up with no good outcome, as she had failed many times before, not just once.

Why do you all feel so bothered about the loveline? From the very start, the synopsis already made it clear there would be a loveline between Iji and Ga Ram. And how could the loveline between the shooting team captain and the rugby team captain be considered unnecessary, when both are students — and what student has never fallen in love or had a crush on someone? If the show only followed a pure sports drama route, it wouldn’t be as engaging or enjoyable as it is now.

Woojin and Seongjun feel so forced to me, I hope the drama will not push their romance subplot any further. I…
“‘Forcing’ usually means adding or pushing an element into a show that doesn’t naturally come from the situation, plot, or character traits — like inserting a loveline just to attract viewers or for fan service, even if it doesn’t fit the story.

But in this case, if the chemistry between the two leads is very good, and Iji and Ga Ram are explored even more than the young couple, then the loveline could actually be a plus, since school dramas often portray both friendship and romance. If you completely remove the romantic aspect, the story can feel a bit dry or emotionally lacking.”

do you watch "may it please the court"? "witch at court?" "Pied piper?" "circle"?…
Many people overreact even though the loveline in the drama only takes up the length of one episode (sometimes even less) in the entire season, and there are many dramas where the loveline is actually well-done but still get bashed for ridiculous reasons, like The Glory, The Judge from Hell, etc. It’s honestly hard to understand.

If there’s a loveline, that’s fine too — it even feels soothing because their chemistry is so good. Western TV series also have lovelines regardless of the genre, and they can still be great and well-loved.

She went looking for him because she loves him, of course.

what male leads we literally know nothing about them, they seem like token extras because hurr durr every k-drama…
The synopsis on MDL is brief, but in the more detailed one, the two female leads are best friends and both like the male lead (played by HNJ).

ah yes they were good friends. just girls being girls.
Exactly, I hope they will have a beautiful friendship, and that there will be a love story for myself. I predict Shin Ye Eun will end up with Lee Won Jung.

This drama was never a BL from the start. Yoon Jae may be a bit clumsy, but he’s straight, so it’s normal for him to feel unfamiliar and a bit awkward when his partner is a guy. Honestly, any straight person would feel the same.

Shipping is up to each person, but don’t take it too far like I mentioned — it can end up giving people a negative or distorted view of the LGBT community.

HNJ has that rugged charm and elegance, plus he's a talented actor. You'll realize it soon enough.
