true true about the time period's costumes and makeup .. from the trailer and posters i thought that i wouldn't enjoy the visual sencery of it and just watched because of the cast ... but it turned out to be my favourit drama of the year and on my list of conformt drama ..
As this drama is coming to an end, i feel like it this drama will mark a changing point in chenglei's career again. He got his first public notice in My Journey to You and his first wave of recognition peaked by his role in LOFG. and even though i loved every single role he did after i believe that MoLi is his second major hit role. it already attracted a lot of recognition recently with around three different rumors of upcoming roles for him with different pairing of actresses [that i hope all are true].
His role in MoLi was different from a usual typical romcom drama but he showed that his acting abilities could handle a complex phycological plot. His character showed different range of emotions and vulnerability that wasn't just about acting like a strong ML but also made his role [and overall all the drama vibes] to have a sense of being "real" or a relatable at some level.
that being said it's not like he didn't show different range of emotions before, but the fact that he use them in this role specifically made it much more visible to different newer fans he is about to gain.
as for Bailu, i seriously can't imagine any other actress doing that role.. still i believe that role are my favorite for her so far o vulnerable and strong at the same time proving again how excellent she is. For the director and writers they truly did a masterpiece.. making an adaption serious is always difficult given the expectation they had to deal with.. but here she was not only able to make a work that actually stand on it's own but even better than novel in some aspects...

rightt!! it took me 2 hours to finish the episode because i kept repeating their scences together multiple times. my brain just couldn't handle how perfect each scene was done from the first time. from script to acting it wass really sooo good [ and the fact that actors used their real voice for this and you could heat their breathing and crying just make it much more whole ] .. so statisfied with today's ep..

true true true ... i gues for the drama to have 9 rate every single episode needs to be rated 9 or above overall. but untill now some episode didn't reach 9 because people stopped rating every episode.. like ep1 have 200 reviews while latest episodes didn't even reach 30.

i also lowkey beilve that she's probably not alive since in the novel they said his character didn't really has a specific love interest and he also moved on soo quickly from her since to following her memory ... i am still hoping they gave them happy ending though ,
He is so brilliant. That talk about death was so comforting and amazing. He could be a psychiatrist!
Extacltly comforting... i felt like overall the episode was soo soothing eventhough technically the topic should be bleak. i wasn't feeling like crying form sadness as much as i am genuinly touched
I think i will keep repeating today's episode until they release the express. It was the climax of the plot, FL finally discovering the truth and the episode didn't disappoint at all. Starting from how ML gently sneaking in hints of what happened in every conversation with FL during the episode leading to the peak events and ending with FL reaction from completely clueless to finally remembering what happened .. even though the plot is bleak, i felt like overall the episode was too gentle in handling how this events unraveled.
there's so much plot buildup in the story of the princess but i don't understand where it leads :' .. i hope she's actaully alive and not only leading to avenge her death side arc ,,
EP33.... how can i explain in words what i feel about this episode... it's HEALING. A'YAO talk about death to A'li with his teary eyes was peak c drama scenes of all time. it was just soooooo good how he opened the topic .. so slowly and gently ensuring her that both of them are no longer lonely and SHEE don't need to be afraid of death. The scene was so genuine and intimate and camera focus on chenglei face and his grey hair was just chef's kiss.
today's episode defiantly earned a place in my heart for all time, it remined me how gentle A'YAO has been treating her ever since he discovered Qing Shuang existence.
A'li's small set aside dishes now containing serving for two.. both of them having uncombed hair living away from everything in the middle of a mountain. Every detail was just simply raw and too touching i was actually also teary eyed watching both of them starting their healing journey ..it took me a while to be able to stop repeating that part and move on.. regarding point 2, i don't think she was planning to ever go back to the mountain again even after the revenge ... i think she would've just stayed for her mother business and that's why she put the bell initially in her mother store before leaving [according to point 5]... and that's why she sincerly thanked MXY for the opportunity to let her leave the mountain ... i feel she genuienly didn't want to stay in the mountain.... and felt like he save her at that point
For the grave, my idea about why she did it because once she discovered everyone is dead and she burried all of them, by nature she also should be contagious and die in turn .. and since she's the last one and no one would burry her she made herself a grave and waited for her inveitable death ...
for the symbolizing of the stone blooming, i also thougth this has something to do with MYX himself. it make more sence that it symbolze MXY's feeling: for one, it was him who always didn'e belive that the stone would bloom and thought it's just weird habbit of her. however FL always beilve the stone will bloom anyway with time. This is similar to their relationship; ML being hard to open up and FL always new she already loved him from a first sight.. they made sure to emphyise that she loved him way long before the conflict so that viewers don't also think she initially did it out ot duty and then loved him later. (totaly agree with no 4 hahaha)
but i agree that she didn't consider the house her home until later when ML actually started to lover her .. hence the bell transfer
