Ppl are mad over MDL ratings but Imdb ratings are even low. It's unbelievable how the antis has this much free time. 6.4 rating with just 179 users?! What a joke 🐸! Only
God knows what will happen tomorrow! Δ°s it really that bad that it's provoking people to that extent? I don't think so, cuz I have seen worse k dramas compared to this and it's watchable than those,, of course if you prefer skipping the unnecessary bold scenes and the music (horrible sound design)

Excuse me! How do you know that 'Pursuit of Jade' is my beloved show when I am the one who dropped it too after 30 episodes? I didn't mention about POJ in my review, did I ?? I just said in that comment that compared to PoJ 'the early spring' isn't considered that successful among the C dramas that were shown on Netflix . I'm not so dumb as to compare the two dramas since its baseless to do so, they are not from the same genre nor in the same level lol. FYI, I didn't write a review about poj nor m a fan of the poj actors but it indeed deserved the hype it achieved cuz the first twenty episodes in PoJ were really an absolute piece of masterpiece and exceptional in terms of writing.Although it gets darker afterwards, the first few episodes were soo great and amazing that I even watched it with my siblings when I usually avoid watching dramas infront of them. It was something even the haters can't help but appreciate.The moral values and healthy relationship that were shown in PoJ was something I missed watching in Chinese Television for ages. Poj - may not be the best in terms of acting skills and chemistry between the leads but at least it was believable, unpredictable and entertaining to watch! Even the supporting cast there was kinda magnetic and did absolutely brilliant job in their performance ! As for the' The early spring ... well did you see how ppl in the reviews here are comparing it with fifty shades of grey like in which angle it has the same vibes as FSOG exactly ?? I dunno what ppl saw in this that they compared it with the best dark romance movie in history .... That just didn't make any sense to me at all ,, as far as I knew, 'the early spring' was supposed to be dark, but there's literally no chemistry between the leads not even the tension let alone the appeal and in fact I could clearly see that they are acting than them actually living the role themselves ! How am I supposed to enjoy a drama like that??!! Nonetheless, I gave it enough chance.... If I were a hater or a troll, I would genuinely rate this 1/10 but I already wrote the things I enjoyed and disliked at the same time.
I believe that not everyone is suitable to act in dark themed dramas like this, it requires enough potential which the early spring cast lacked! From my perspective, not everyone have to love everything, you loved TES I didn't, you disliked POJ and I liked it in the beginning. That's totally okay and normal. And there are ppl who criticized Pursuit of Jade' too, both haters and drama critics especially in douban calling the direction overly smooth, calling Ling He wooden and Tian Xi Wei a human robot but I won't certainly go to their reviews creating more chaos by calling them out or attacking them back. If everyone's preference in the world was same than the world wouldn't be so interesting to begin with, hopefully you will understand that πŸ™‚πŸ‘

In my opinion, it's not as successful as Pursuit of Jade though among the Netflix C Dramas πŸ˜¬πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ and I assume that all these hype will eventually fade away after the drama ends its run whereas PoJ still has that hype going on even months after the show ended
