You do realize that Korea deals with many of the same social issues that go on here in the US right? Many of you just want to see dancing and singing Asians for your entertainment. The Hallyu wave have conditioned you to the shiny, happy Korean but I’m glad a show is mixing it up a bit.
I didn’t remember the date sadly but wondered if that was the cause but they said street market so I wondered…
The date of her death is the exact day of the tragedy. When I saw the month and year it clicked in my mind. I checked to verify and it was that incident. It was even more sad because so many young people, like the granddaughter, perished that night.
from the very beginning the initial investigation was biased and arguably unprofessional. lol they didn't even…
Unfortunately that type of bias does exist. The spouse is usually the first suspect when a husband or wife is murdered. And even that does turn out to be factual in many cases, it does create bias. They should have at least looked at other options. The real murderer called out the prosecutor on it at the end.
Rewatching ep 7, it really makes me wander what HY’s brother’s end game is. The fact that they focused on…
I actually think he’s there to make a play on their company. They emphasized him doing takeovers of big companies when he arrived. So I think he’s pretending to be an ally to the half sister to that end.
I'm kinda disappointed how bad the legal side this has when it seems to be main focus.
The legal side is the setting not the focus. It’s like watching Scrubs and expecting it to be an accurate representation of life in a hospital. This is more about ML gaining some redemption and learning what really matters.
Enjoyed ep 2. It will definitely get me back for another week, especially with that ending reveal. What is the boss lady up to? Overall a solid show. Side note, the date the granddaughter passed was the date of the real life incident that caused the death of over 150 people in Itaewon. Really sad moment in the show.
A love triangle is unnecessary in this drama. We could have two main couples, like in Business Proposal. Why did…
The triangle makes SeonU look like a creep. Dude you have been around for years and still don’t have the bslls to tell DaRim how you feel. But he will talk big to JiHyeok and interfere with their love story.
It just feels like one-sided love on ML's part. People want to see both parties equally in love with each other.…
It’s clear she has feelings for him. That’s part of the reason why she fell down and started crying. We have also been seeing things from the ML’s pov in the last few episodes. In the first two episodes it was weighted from the FL’s pov but more equal. I think we are going to get back to a more equal pov so the audience should start to feel more understanding of DaRim.
I hear people saying they want to see DaRim suffer like JiHyeok. I personally don’t want to see that and think it would be a waste of time. As long as DaRim explains it fully and comes clean, I think JiHyeok will forgive her. It’s not like she did it for a nefarious reason.
So episode 8 was the filler episode with lots of flashbacks. But the last minute made it worth it. It’s all about to come crashing down for DaRim. I called it. I guessed that ep 9 would be the reveal. Now we will have to go through the betrayal so I don’t expect JiHyeok and DaRim to get together soon after the reveal. JiHyeok will feel hurt and betrayed. Rightfully so. Again, I hate that we have to wait a week to get the next episode.
I haven’t started watching yet, glad I made that choice. Even waiting for the clips of them actually finding…
I envy the people who are going to be able to binge this. Unfortunately I started and I’m waiting at the door for my next meal. I don’t know how you guys have the fortitude to wait but it will be worth it.
I don’t know what some of you people are talking about. I love this slow burn. It’s a drama for a reason. If you wanted to see them running through a field of flowers and everything perfect after three episodes then read a fanfic. Yes they are using every Kdrama trope in the book but I’m loving the angst between the two. The only thing I hate is that we have to wait for new episodes. I suspect we get the reveal to JiHyeok by ep 9. Episode 8 will be the tease. Loving the acting by the two leads, especially the ML this episode. It’s my first time seeing him in a show and he’s delivering. I’m glad to see that he’s conflicted because he does believe DaRim is married.
So did SML even love his wife? Why is he now displaying these strong feelings towards FL? They could at least…
I agree with you on the fact that SeonU doesn’t deserve HaYeong at this point. He has blew it in my book. His behavior towards DaRim is starting to cross the line. Dude, you aren’t her real husband.
