Brocade Odyssey (2024)

This drama is a masterpiece that easily deserves an 8.5+ rating for its perfect plot, visuals, and acting. Yang Zi is spectacular, and the emotional scenes with her grandparents broke my heart. The enemies-to-allies dynamic between Li Zhen and her uncle Li Jingdong was a highlight. Though the male lead's character frustrates me, he is easily outsmarted by his enemies and lacks fighting skills despite serving a general; the actor himself did a great job and looks fantastic in historical attire. This show is highly recommended! For me, Yang Zi and Zhao Lusi remain the reigning queens of C-dramas.

don't care about low rating reviews, This is a super thriller & mistery drama, with a high IQ FL . For me this drama deserves more than 10. every moment is catchy, not a single scene is boring. your curiosity will increase from first ep to the last ep. definietly worth watching

Gon Youn Jung is a versatile actress. I love how she chooses dramas; her dramas are so successful, so proud of her, waiting for her new dramas.

I don't get why the ratings are so low. This is such a great wuxia drama

I like if her role is over, bcz I love both FL & 2 nd FL, but I choose Ling long bcz she has a great chemistry with the ML & others. I love her character, strong, caring and sweet personality.

Yang Zi is one of the excellent actresses in the acting industry; her acting skills prove that. Her Lost You Forever S1 & S2, Born To Be Alive (I really love the realistic plot around the beautiful Tibetan Plateau in Western China in this drama, so unique and breathtaking drama), Immortal Samsara etc... prove that she's an incredible actress. Haters only know how to criticize, but they don't know how much effort they put into their dramas to be successful. Her dramas deserve more than 8.5 & 9 if we focus on her acting skills. She deserves to be praised.

What noo, IU is such a multitalented artist, her acting is so natural and breathtaking, such an incredible actress and a singer, I fell in love with her after watching Moon Lovers Kdrama, she can nail in both acting and singing careers. Her When Life Gives You Tangerines Kdrama is my favorite 2025 Kdrama. Her recent Perfect Crown drama is also amazing. IU can slay any type of role. I don't get why some toxic people prefer to criticize every hardworking artist. Only real fans respect these artists. And Yang Zi is also an excellent Cactress, her acting skills are insane in her Lost You Forever S1 &S2, Born To Be Alive ( What a realistic drama, the cinematography and the cast's acting is insane in this drama) ..etc... It's really sad to see some people don't appreciate their hard work, but watching all of their dramas till the end & spreading hate everywhere. I like both of their dramas; both are incredible in acting.

My gosh, Lin Mu Ran is also in this drama. I'm wondering what kind of role he's playing in this drama. It's more likely he's on the good side in this drama. I'm so excited to see him alongside Bai Lu.

yhh, his recent dramas had the same plot: he gets involved with a lot of female leads (at least 2) and has chemistry with everyone, but doesn't end up with any of them. That's so annoying. I hope he ends up with Huo Ling Long. I love her character.
