Would have been a perfect show had the whole HK arc been done completely differently… or not at all. What a bummer! I was so invested in this one until the character regression. I sorta get what they were trying to do, but the way the writers went about trying to do it SUCKED.

Oh my gosh why are you coming at me? 😂 I was talking to someone else about their concerns about the lying trope, and basically sharing my experience before you interjected 😂. What I decide to post is my choice, and you are choosing to argue with me and insinuate that I’m “sick in the head” 😆 Don’t like what I say, then don’t engage with my posts? Block me? 🤷🏼♀️ This is an open discussion form about the show, and I don’t see any rules about only positive posts being allowed lol. You can go ahead and get your panties in a twist all you want over my criticisms of the show. You wanna know why I check back occasionally and keep tabs on this one even though I don’t like it? Because it’s pretty to look at and I’m curious as to how it ends. 🤷🏼♀️ 😂 It is a win-win for me. I can find and watch specific scenes that I’m curious about (*coughsthebathscene*) without being in a state of feeling irritated by the deceit and secret keeping.
You can post back if you want to, but I am not going to respond.

I’ve been watching historical Chinese shows, both xianxia and wuxia, nonstop for six months. I vet my shows pretty thoroughly before I pick one up, though. So like Legend of Shen Li, When Destiny Brings the Demon and Moonlight Mystique were overall really good. 🤷🏼♀️ I own my mistake for picking up this show given the synopsis, but I just figured it wouldn’t drag out as long as it ended up dragging for.

Not bad? LOL. She lied for 25 episodes. After the ML injured himself for the marriage ritual, she lied and said that she was Xian’s betrothed 😂 She even lied about the GMD and decided to steal it literally the night that they had sex for the first time! So I respectfully disagree. 🤷🏼♀️

You can always watch it for yourself and see what you think. A lot of people love it, it just isn’t for me. I check back on the page occasionally to see the updates because I got juuuust invested enough to stay curious about it, but not enough to keep watching and push through the irritation I felt at the lying being dragged out.
The story seems interesting, but the FL is just too difficult for me to watch. 3 eps in and I'm not getting used…
She’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but she grew on me as the story developed and I LOVE her. Everyone else on the show outside of like 1 or 2 people want to either kill SJ or harvest his blood for their own cultivation. A lot of us came to appreciate the FL because she is like the only person on the show who doesn’t expect / want anything from him. Also, she does get character development and toughens up later on.
If you’re bored then just keep it dropped? 🤷🏼♀️ “Better” is subjective to the viewer, and if…
Yah judging by the some of shows you’ve seen and rated highly, Fated Hearts is pretty good. There’s a lot going around about Love in the Clouds (not my thing with the lying and deceit). Looks like you’ve seen a lot of shows already 😊
Put it on hold at episode 10, should i continue this one? What ep will this get better?
