At that point they'd been together for a long time. I'm all about "my body, my decision," but I think…
I was looking for this type of comment, everyone debating if she should or shouldn’t have told him, ignoring the hospital where she said that. It was weird that they never further expored it, but honesly he probably wouldn’t have believed her anyway, and their relationship was so screwed up at that point.
Even if it was real, the final decision was hers, but she should have discussed it with him. How could she not know this will end the relationship, lie or not, I have no idea.

Title Go Ahead Spoiler
Finished the series and I’m pissed off that none of Ling Xiao’s parents, not even once, bothered to tell him that his sister’s death was not his fault! Even when he asks his dad in anguish if he thinks he’s suffered enough to make it up to his mom, he just stays quiet! And his mom is selfish to the bitter end, just trying to kill herself whenever things don’t go her way. They try to explain it when his father apologizes to her (🤬) saying he didn’t know about PTSD, but no one in this disfunctional family goes to see a therapist!
I loved their dad a lot, he was the best dad ever, but I never felt he had chemistry with He Mei. Also Ling Xiao, his reasoning for being with jianjian, sorry, but needing someone to hold you when you’re drowning does not a relationship make. Also, the transition from brother to boyfriend was really aggressive on his part and she just went along with it. I expected more of a subtle courtship.

Title Go Ahead Spoiler
I’m only on episode 6, but this is a spoiler if you haven’t watched it yet.
What kind of school lets strange people in and just let’s them meet kids alone? The mother who hasn’t been around for 10 years just shows up outside the classroom. Worse, a father who has NEVER seen his child, just corners him in the bathroom alone and goes “what, you don’t recognize me? I would pull my kid out of that school so fast.
sidenote - SWL is a wonderful actor, I wish he wasn’t always so skinny. Someone feed him.

After being 10 years of relationship. When things figgled out btw them. Who will cheat first? Jiho or jung in?.
This is exactly what I was thinking. People in the comments justifying the cheating because her relationship was “bad” or “over”. If your relationship is bad, you end it. If they were married would it still not count as cheating? She was clearly feeling guilty about it from the start, pretending not to know him at all when honestly she could have just told the truth and no one would have thought twice about it. Then she countinued to have a secret “friendship” with a guy who she knew was interested in her (and to those who say “he said he was over it”, come on, you cannot be that dumb, he was just giving her the excuse she needed because he saw the relationship she was in wasn’t great and wanted an in).
If you feel guilty and need to hise what you’re doing, then it’s wrong. Also, a relationship that strats this way is doomed to have trust issues in the future, because no relationship is always perfect, there are ups and downs over the years. So when they encounter a down period, will she be having a new secret “friend”? Even if not, he’s bound to think to himself that she might.
Honestly, the thing that got me most is when she said “I hate lying the most”. Do you? really? cause you can’t seem to stop doing it.
Too bad, I loved “something in the rain” (though it had it’s flaws too), but this was a no for me. Some lines should not be crossed. Blaming the situation is the same as blaming alcohol for your poor choices - They were still your choices, own them.

the first half of the show was super strong! the second half did feel a bit too dramatic and a bit loop-holy like…
yes! watching this after shine on me where SWL looks so malnourished! (the last episode where he’s shirtless you can see his bones!)

Fr, all the characters in this drama had terrible dressing sense.
Sometimes I couldn’t concentrate on the plot because his jackets would have some ridiculous atrocity on. Looked like someone who had a mental breakdown came up with them.
