I have a question before I start this. I know this drama is toxic but I want to know whether the male lead Cheng Yi isn’t a timid person. Who just takes the toxicity like a good boy. And keeps coming back. Like he actually fights back right??? You see I’ve previously watched Revenged Love and To My Shore (For this drama, I hope this love never finds me) and the male leads were toxic but my boys Wu Qi Qiong and You Shu Lang didn’t just sit there and take it. I read a comment where someone said after they’re relationship ended the first time other than during that relationship every other times it was no way consensual. So before I hop into it, please let me know.

I loved the Fml in this drama she really was a shameless woman. And calculated her steps carefully. The emperor indulged her so much.

Omg thank you. I’m so sad Viu is not available in my country. I would have paid to access all the short cdramas on mdl. Kalos is one of my favorite apps to use I found most of the short cdramas I rated on Kalos. And I use DramaWave too. It was one of my first app. Dramabox too.

This was a cute watch. Even though the Fml didn’t have any backbone infront of the ml at the beginning (I’m so used to transmigrators with that scheme and is bold and with back bone from the very get go) but eventually she got bolder and she had a sort of adhering intelligence. This vertical drama is really high rated. I think other vertical dramas should gain the same hype.

You just summarize all the grievances I have ever since I discovered short vertical dramas. I have to do an extensive search to find the vertical dramas and the cast I just watched on mdl. I’ve watch over 30 vertical cdramas so far and I’ve only been able to rate 12 on mdl. Can you possibly recommend some platforms to watch vertical dramas? Some of the best vertical drama apps?

When the fml started her affair with the ml she already made the decision that she was going to leave her husband. Her husband was the delusional one that refused to divorce. In episode 35 she even advised the ml morally it’s wrong to seek a married woman. And I agreed with her. As soon as she left the general house I already considered that the end of that relationship and the next chapter for the new one. And also she wasn’t even the one that agreed to this marriage it was the previous host. I think the pacing of the romance was perfect.

This is just a play on bigger people. Why is it when a smaller person saves him he ended falling in love but when a bigger person did he gave her gold and ruthlessly never turned back. He even dare to get furious when that smaller person is just a gold digger and happily accepts the money? That’s too much. I know he doesn’t remember the past life but still.

Why is this murderer so adamant about going back to her time? Isn’t she afraid that her murderer instincts will pass to that timeline and she’ll end up a serial killer? 😭 “I’m so scared for my life”, while killing her 100th victim. Might as well just stay in that timeline she’s too corrupted.

This was a great drama. The forbidden romance truly was something else. 😳I find it ironic he was mad at her for scheming against him for revenge when he started this forbidden venture by pretending to be her husband with the candles blown out. And her husband wearing green the whole cdrama really is hilarious. 🤣 He even helped the emperor hide his affair with his wife from his consort. After the degree was read out loud he could only thank the emperor for taking his woman. LMFAOOO.

Why did they have to dye his hair. I think Li Yun Rui looks best with colored hair. He looks dull, like a kicked puppy with his regular hair color.

That ending was too abrupt. After manipulating two men just for the love of the game she suddenly fell for one of them? She didn’t admit it at the end but still the implication is there.

I love this fml. She knows how to quietly scheme. Before everyone figures out what she did she’s already steps ahead and it’s too late. And the scenes between the emperor and her so steamy I was blushing. 😳I love the women costumes in this drama. This period Chinese costumes are my favorite especially showing the neck line. So elegant. The hairstyle is really beautiful.
