The timeline doesn’t add up. 8 years ago XiuYao brother ended up executed. The prince told his aide to investigate about her maid. QingShaung. The aide stated there is no sign of a QingShaung she’s been alone from beginning to the end. Since she descended down the mountain, QingShaung doesn’t exist. That maid is just a conjured version of herself whenever she’s in a situation where she needs comforting. A mirror of herself of what she wants someone to say to her. In other words something happened.

Stop it. It’s so saddening. 😭 Ye Li grew up on that empty mountain for 8 years. I just want to know who’s behind this tragedy. Who is the reason why Lishen is empty. How come nobody ever noticed this. Isn’t Lishen supposed to be respected by the whole nation? My poor Ye Li. An intelligent Schizophreniac she is.

The female lead in this was really composed throughout this drama. I love her attitude. She never panicked even if the odds were against her. Even when fate itself wanted to rewrite her ending. Too bad no romance in this one.

This is another version of this drama plotline that I love. It was so beautiful. The emperor in this one was extra manipulative and manly. 😫 And fml was ruthless. They should rename the drama Lock Lips because they really was locking those lips instead of doing what this current name of the drama is. I love when vertical actors don’t just bump lips and actually do some lip locking.

I never understood why everyone was quick to believe a child pushed a grown adult woman and caused her to miscarry. She’s a torso higher than her. Sending the child away for over 10 years and trying to reconcile. Such nonsense is simply ridiculous.

I LOVED THIS DRAMA. The budget of this drama is high. Hairstyle, makeup, and costumes are amazing. All four of my favorite vertical series actors. These actors NEED a lead role already. They would do great in a standard series. I loved the besties relationship. The system is so cute too. It deserves a higher rating.

I usually drop boring cdramas or put them on hold. One is a rebirth drama and the other one didn’t even have the luxury to gain a second chance. I BET THAT MO LI ORGINAL NOVEL WAS A REBIRTH NOVEL TOO. Even without that the writers knew how to get straight to the point. Why am I wasting my time on Chu Zhao.

The rating of this is going further and further down. This is what happens when two shows air so close to each other. Some netizens are saying that ashes of crown fml revenge isn’t satisfactory enough. Unlike First Jasmine fml who got right to the point. I’m not even watching the First Jasmine because I don’t want to get distracted but Chu Zhao you really are chipping away at my patience. Just say yall wanted to make a historical version of the F4. All those manipulative men surrounding our Chu Zhao.

I’ve watch a lot of different versions of this kinda of plot. And this is the first one that was truly romantic and the pacing of her falling in love was also natural. She was a badass too. She stayed calm the whole entire show. Outmaneuvering everyone. And she knew her security came first before romance. I miss long harem palace cdramas. Alas watching one man have so many women in the palace and their fate depends on him entirely really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I understand why it’s banned. Anyways this was a intelligent fml. The fml is gorgeous.

Bravo. I love her detached attitude. She got her revenge and became the empress dowager at the end. She didn’t gaf that the emperor died. All she needs is her children. And she took down all the villains. It would have been even more brilliant if she was the one that killed the emperor after all he didn’t even punish the villain that killed her child when all the evidence pointed towards that woman. Alas he died by his own means. Anyways I love this fml. She looked so beautiful in the drama. Her seductive technique was working on me and I’m not the target. 😳Tbh I wanted her to truly be a demon consort. With how the emperor shameless indulges in women i wanted her to shamelessly destroy the kingdom. I guess she had her limits.
